There are few relationships more public and turbulent than one involving a Kardashian. Following the former NBA star’s marriage to Khloe after only a month of dating, the rumors began to fly about what Lamar was doing behind the scenes. After the confession of one of Odom’s mistresses, the couple filed for divorce in 2013. However, despite all of her hubby’s run-arounds, Khloe put the divorce on hold to be with her husband when he was found unresponsive in a Nevada brothel. It takes a lot commitment to sit beside your cheating husband’s hospital bed waiting for him to get well.

For a couple in the news business, these two were pretty newsworthy themselves. Singer and Today Show co-host Kathie Lee married former NFL player and sports commentator Frank Gifford in 1986, despite a 23-year age gap. However, their relationship got rocky in 1997, when a tabloid magazine paid a woman to seduce Gifford in order to fabricate a juicy story. It worked, and Kathie Lee later revealed that she’d seriously considered leaving her husband at the time. However, the pair patched things up, and stayed together until Gifford’s death in 2015.

Shante has opened up about the difficulties of being married to a man constantly on the road, but has held herself and her marriage together for the sake of her family and for love.
