Top 10 Friendship Moments on Victorious

Top 10 Friendship Moments on Victorious
VOICE OVER: Phoebe de Jeu WRITTEN BY: Joey Turner
These friendship moments on "Victorious" made us all want to go to Hollywood Arts. Our countdown includes standing up to Helen, the fake date, producing Jade's play, and more!

#10: Beck & André to the Rescue
“Star-Spangled Tori”

Tori gets a chance to perform a song on TV, but Beck and André sense trouble may be afoot. Turns out their fears are perfectly justified, as the host of the show is planning to humiliate Tori during her song with an explosive prank. Of course, that doesn’t sit right with Tori’s best guy friends. They sneak backstage to sabotage the prank and turn the tables on the mischievous host. André and Beck didn’t even waste time wondering if they should or shouldn’t do this, for they saw that their friend was in trouble and acted fast to rescue her. It’s a good thing they did too, as Tori suffered ENOUGH embarrassment for one episode.

#9: Being There for Robbie
“Rex Dies”

When Rex gets badly damaged in a freak accident, Robbie has a complete meltdown convinced that his beloved puppet is dying –he even asks that they take the damaged Rex to the hospital. They agree, but only so they can have Rex “pass” in the hospital bed, hoping that their friend can finally move on –because let’s be honest, Robbie’s relationship with the dummy isn’t natural. But Tori can’t stand seeing Robbie this broken up, so she makes it look like Rex actually pulled through. It’s clear that both sides only had Robbie’s best interest at heart; unfortunately, for the sake of his happiness, they’ll have to keep putting up with Rex for a little while longer.

#8: Working Together to Meet Ke$ha
“Ice Cream for Ke$ha”

Tori is stuck being Trina’s servant for a month, and there’s nothing she can do about it… or is there? Famous superstar Ke$ha is having a special contest. Hidden inside ice cream containers are letters; those who find all the letters to her name win a free private concert from her. Tori wants to win the contest to earn her freedom from Trina, and naturally, the rest of the gang offers to help her out. While it’s mostly so they can meet Ke$ha too, it’s still nice that they volunteered their time to help their friend –and offer support when things seem hopeless. Thankfully, in the end, their teamwork pays off and they enjoy the spoils of victory.

#7: Producing Jade’s Play
“Wok Star”

Jade wants to put on her new play but needs the money to produce it… and Tori inadvertently agrees to help her out. She finds someone willing to pay for Jade’s show, but with a catch… the lady is a nosey control freak who wants to change the show. Luckily, the rest of the gang is able to stall the lady long enough for Jade to put on her play the way it was MEANT to be. For her effort in making this all happen, Tori is rewarded with something that seemed near impossible to achieve – a hug from Jade. That alone makes it all worth it given the two’s history.

#6: Secret Santas
“A Christmas Tori”

To get his students in the Christmas spirit, Sikowitz makes his class participate in a Secret Santa assignment. Though reluctant, the gang ends up getting each other very thoughtful and creative gifts. Beck gives Robbie a date with his old bully, Robbie gives Cat a cotton candy machine, Cat gives Jade a prop from her favorite movie, André catches a cricket that’s been annoying Beck all week, and Jade gives Tori an amazing gift idea for André. And what did Tori give André? The A he deserved for his Christmas song with a live performance alongside Cat and Jade. It’s touching to see the kids put so much thought into their gifts… which is more than Sikowitz can say.

#5: “I Can’t Do That to a Friend”
“Tori Goes Platinum”

Tori’s been going through a rough time since Jade took her spot performing in the Platinum Music Awards. Beck’s been doing his best to comfort her, only for them to almost kiss. Luckily, they stop each other, and Tori says how it wouldn’t be right for her to kiss Jade’s ex-boyfriend. What neither Beck nor Tori realized was that Jade had seen the whole thing. In her gratitude, she gives Tori her place in the Awards show back, no longer wanting to steal a friend’s big night. Sadly, these heartwarming moments between Tori and Jade are pretty rare thanks to their on-again-off-again relationship, but that makes it all the more special when they do happen.

#4: The Fake Date
“Tori & Jade's Playdate”

In an ironic twist of fate, Tori and Jade are to play husband and wife in a new play. To help them get into character, Sikowitz makes them go on a fake date. At first, it goes about as well as you’d expect with these two, and yet, both frenemies are able to say something nice about one another. When two creepy guys enter the scene, our duo’s camaraderie really shines as they team up to perform arguably the show’s most savage duet. Nothing brings two frenemies together better than humiliating two annoying idiots; and if Tori and Jade WERE a married couple, at least they know it wouldn’t be the worst thing ever, right?

#3: Good Old-Fashioned Revenge
“Freak the Freak Out”

Most of the gang is enjoying dinner at Karaoke Dokie, where Jade and Cat nail it in the singing competition. However, the owner declares his snobby daughters the winners even though OUR girls were clearly the audience favorites –Beck, André, and Robbie are ESPECIALLY vocal about this. The next night, Jade and Cat recruit Tori for a little revenge, and she helps them blow the bratty girls away with an earth-shaking performance of “Freak the Freak Out.” The fact that Jade and Cat automatically thought of Tori helping them says a lot about their friendship, same with how Tori didn’t even hesitate to get in on it; revenge really does bring people together sometimes.

#2: Standing Up to Helen
“Helen Back Again”

Helen steps up as the new principal of Hollywood Arts and is ordering the students to re-audition to stay in the school. Unfortunately, it looks like Tori may have failed hers and will have to leave… or so she thinks. The gang won’t stand for it and are ready to stand up to Helen – except for Jade, obviously. However, when they confront their new principal, it turns out that there was a mix-up, and TRINA was kicked out instead of Tori. While the gang is overjoyed that Tori can stay, they’re not so keen on helping her ensure that Trina can stay. We can’t blame them, but at least we know they love Tori more.

Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.

Riding the Party Bus
“Driving Tori Crazy”

An Unexpected Friendship
“Victori-Yes”

Putting Ryder in His Place
“Beggin’ on Your Knees”

Tori the Diversion
“The Breakfast Bunch”

Singing in the Hot Box
“Survival of the Hottest”

#1: A New Home for Cat
“Star-Spangled Tori”

Cat has been acting weirder than normal lately, and Robbie and Jade decide to find out why. What they find is heartbreaking – Cat has been living on her own in the school’s attic while her family’s out of town… and they might be gone for two years. While Robbie keeps her company, Jade arranges to have Cat stay at her Grandma’s place – setting the scene for the spin-off, “Sam & Cat.” This is undoubtedly one of the show’s sweetest acts of kindness on both Robbie and Jade’s part – going out of their way to protect their friend from becoming homeless, all for the sake of her health and happiness. If only we could’ve seen Jade’s sweetness more often.
