#10: C.C. Hopes For A Night of Good Cluckin’
“Pen Pals”

Top 10 Funniest Late Night Talk Show Moments

Whenever Niles and C.C. are in the same room, you just know that hilarity is about to ensue. When Niles catches C.C. creating a romantic ambiance for a late-night work session with Mr. Sheffield, he decides to have some fun with her. We don’t know what’s funnier, C.C. clucking like a hen, her scream of horror, or Niles’ nonchalant response after. Later, they take a few more shots at each other, while sharing a drink and one thing leads to another. C.C. finds out that cluckin’ isn’t so bad after all, just not with the Englishman she expected.

#9: Grace Thinks She’s Pregnant
“A Fine Friendship”

Top 10 Times Karen Was a Savage on Will & Grace

After overhearing Fran summarizing an episode of “All My Children,” Gracie entirely misconstrues the situation and thinks she’s now pregnant. You can’t help but laugh as she confronts her friend, Willie, over their long nap that made them late for the movies. It’s also hilariously adorable watching the kids play out every pregnancy stereotype in the book, while obviously being entirely clueless to the reality. Just as you finished laughing though, Grace’s relief as Fran explains that she can’t be pregnant has us cracking up all over again. Well, we suppose now would be a great time for that “birds and the bees” talk.

#8: Fran Fine Meets Fran Drescher
“The Baby Shower”

Top 10 Best Fran Fine Outfits on The Nanny

In this season six episode, a psychic leads Fran to believe that Maxwell is going to cheat on her, so she follows him across the country. As she arrives at the hotel where he’s staying, we enter this meta-reality, as who should walk in but Fran Drescher. Fran Fine comments on the actress’s hair, voice, and her show which sounds an awful lot like the one we’re currently watching. This was also a witty opportunity to remind audiences that the following week would be the series finale. The whole exchange has us laughing out loud, especially when both Frans look directly into the camera.

#7: The Singing Telegram
“The Engagement”

Top 10 Funniest Cat Valentine Moments on Victorious

Following a long on-and-off-again romance between Fran and Mr. Sheffield, the pair finally get engaged. No one seems happier about this than Niles, who takes it upon himself to share the news with Miss Babcock. The scene then cuts away to a singing telegram ringing C.C.'s doorbell and informing her about the happy couple in the most entertaining and non-subtle way imaginable. However, something tells us that C.C. didn’t enjoy the performance quite as much as the rest of us. Just in case the performers were somehow understated, Niles also can’t wait to show Miss Babcock Fran’s engagement ring.

#6: C.C.’s Birthday Surprise
“Strange Bedfellows”

Also in:

Top 10 Funniest Avatar: The Last Airbender Moments

It comes as no surprise that C.C. and Niles appear on our list once again, as their fiery interactions are one of the funniest running gags in the series. On this occasion, it’s C.C. 's birthday and Niles has a big birthday surprise planned for his frenemy. After a drunken night out, Fran accidentally ends up in Maxwell’s bed. So, Niles tricks C.C. into taking Maxwell his morning coffee, knowing full-well what she’s about to stumble upon. Just to really rub salt in the wound, he follows a shell-shocked Miss Babcock out of the room, singing cheerfully over her shoulder.

#5: Fran and Mr. Sheffield Try To “Get It On”
“A Fine Friendship”

Following a misunderstanding with her new friend Kurt, Fran finds herself chatting to her boss while topless. Once she realizes, she panics which, naturally, leads to a humorous situation that a passer-by might misinterpret. And, of course, right on cue, who should walk past the room but our favorite wisecracking butler. With Fran half-dressed on the bed and Mr. Sheffield on top of her, the pair somehow still manage to swear Niles to secrecy. Although he promises not to tell anyone, good ol’ cunning Niles finds a loophole. And there’s just one person with whom he simply cannot wait to share this juicy piece of gossip.

#4: Grandma Yetta Is Smokin’
“Everybody Needs a Bubby”

While Grandma Yetta’s retirement home is being fumigated, she comes to stay with the Sheffields. She brings plenty of mishegas with her, with one of the funniest moments occurring in the bedroom. Mr. Sheffield and Fran are forced to break into her room after smelling smoke. Needless to say, they certainly weren’t expecting the sight they walked in on. We love Yetta’s sass and how everyone’s more concerned by the burned bagel than the smoke it caused. Don’t even get us started on the cream cheese. Niles even stops by to congratulate the couple and it’s not long before news of their escapades travels.

#3: Lauren Lane Hides Her Pregnancy
“Mommy and Mai”

In season five, Lauren Lane who plays C.C. was expecting. So the show found a clever and amusing way to simultaneously hide and address her pregnancy. Referencing an episode of “Seinfeld,” C.C.makes a pointed comment about the way other shows have handled the same situation. This is especially funny as they make a huge point of C.C. doing the exact same thing. And if we weren’t already getting the joke, moments later a fun bit of prop comedy really drives the point home. Later in the season, a well-timed breakdown allowed C.C. to take time away while Lane had her daughter.

#2: Fran Tries Wasabi
“Val’s Boyfriend”

When Fran and C.C. fall out with Val and Mr. Sheffield, respectively, the pair head out for a girly lunch. As a sushi first-timer, Fran is unfamiliar with the condiments, leaving C.C. to provide guidance. Knowing what’s coming, we watch Fran pile it on with anticipation. And we are not disappointed. Her reaction is hilarious but what’s funnier still is that C.C. is so self-involved that she’s totally oblivious to Fran’s plight. She doesn’t even flinch when Fran falls off of her chair. Fran discovers one upside to overloading on wasabi though. It might not last, but we wouldn’t want her any other way.

Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.

#1: Fran Prepares Mr. Sheffield For Surgery
“Close Shave”

Fran and Mr. Sheffield’s paths cross unexpectedly while she’s covering for Maggie as a Candy Striper and he’s brought in for an appendectomy. Although Fran tries to disguise herself as a nurse, she ends up in a compromising position when she’s asked to help prep the patient for surgery. And no, that doesn’t mean getting rid of his 5 o’clock shadow. You can hear the audience howling throughout this scene. And, if you look closely, you can see that even Charles Shaughnessy is struggling to keep a straight face. No matter how many times we’ve watched it, this scene never fails to make us laugh.
