Top 10 Hilarious Holly and Phil Innuendoes

Top 10 Hilarious Holly and Phil Innuendoes
VOICE OVER: RiB
Written by Alfie Bywater

Cue the uncontrollable laughter. Welcome to WatchMojo UK and today we'll be counting down our picks for the top 10 hilarious Holly and Phil Innuendos!

For this list, we're firing through the funniest and most eyebrow-raising moments from the nation's favourite daytime TV double act, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. We haven't included innuendos dropped by other presenter pairs on “This Morning”, although Holly's willy wanging with Ben Shephard will never get old!

Special thanks to our user WordToTheWes for submitting the idea on our interactive suggestion tool: WatchMojo.comsuggest

#10: Sowing Seeds

With Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuinness on the “This Morning” sofa, what could possibly go wrong? Well, Holly opens the interview with this highly questionable lead-in line, and the comics go to town. In fairness, Keith doesn’t say a great deal – he doesn’t have to – because Holly knows the hole she’s dug for herself. All Phil can do is watch on in wonder.

#9: Seductive Script

OK, so there’s no outright innuendo here, but given Holly and Phil’s reputation, this is a script read-through unlike any other. Entrusted with a small segment from an upcoming “Emmerdale” scene, the pair engage in some really rather racy dialogue. We’re not likely to catch either of them in the Woolpack anytime soon, but they nailed it all the same – in typically cheeky style.

#8: Kitchen Whizzing

The “This Morning” kitchen has seen many a suggestive slip of the tongue, and here we pass to Phil for a unique take on homemade soups. Phil Vickery is gallantly trying to inspire others to expand their culinary skills, when Schofield goes and says this. A winter warmer and then some, it leaves Holly lost for words and turns a routine link into autocue madness.

#7: Fearne’s Cakes

Providing today’s second “Celebrity Juice” link, Holly and Phil get the giggles in a big way after an apparently routine intro to Fearne Cotton. Fearne’s on the show to bake some guilt-free treats, but Holly can barely hold it together whilst telling viewers what to look forward to. The whole hilarious moment is made even more memorable when she sets Phil off too.

#6: Eating Beef

We’re kitchen-bound again, and dessert is on the menu once more. Except Holly hasn’t quite finished with her main course. A meaty mishap which set the whole studio sniggering, it’s all the funnier because almost exactly five years previously, ex-presenter Fern Britton did this. Basically, whenever “This Morning” runs with beef, expect someone, somewhere to say something they shouldn’t.

#5: Phil’s Sleeping Habits

We’re with Stephen Mulhern next, who introduces an entirely innocent lifestyle feature on mobile phone use. That is until Phil takes over. An accidental double-entendre delivered with absolute conviction, it’s an exceptionally fine example of what not to say on live TV. Is it just us, or does Phil seem a little hot under the collar all of a sudden?

#4: The Real-Life Sherlock

Colin Cloud takes centre stage for Holly’s next saucy slip. The apparent mind reader brings his Sherlock-style act to the sofa, and impresses everyone by guessing Phil’s unfortunate weekend exploits. But Holly is especially enamoured, and excitedly asks Cloud for round two – but her request comes out sounding like something quite different. Just smile and nod, Colin. Just smile and nod.

#3: The Dodgy Dumbbell

Some physical comedy now, accompanied by Phil’s risqué running commentary. Exercise trends are a regular topic for the “This Morning” team, but this workout method turned more heads than most. Holly’s on hand to show off her technique, and Phil does a valiant job at not stating the obvious, but the clip was soon doing the rounds on social media – and for the briefest of moments in 2009, the ShakeWeight was a must-have thing.

#2: Still to Come

Ordinarily, unless you have an incredibly dirty mind, the “still to come” link shouldn’t rouse too many salacious thoughts. But use those three little words straight after interviewing a couple who are on a constant tantric orgasm, and they take on a whole new meaning. Holly and Phil were rapt with attention throughout the feature, but then Phil tries to link to a break and, well, this happens.

#1: Eating Mussels

Given its proven potential for provocative slip ups, it seems only right we should finish in the kitchen. Holly’s hilarious reaction to a smooth cup of coffee in 2013 almost made it onto today’s list, but nothing tops her tasting mussels with Gino D’Acampo. The thing is, she doesn’t like them – but Phil insists that she eats one anyway. Mustering enough courage to pop it in her mouth, it’s left for Gino to try and style this one out.
