Top 10 Hottest Celebrity Cameos in Music Videos

Welcome to MsMojo, and today we’re counting down our picks for the sexiest cameos made by celebrities in music videos.
#10: “Thank U, Next” (2018)
Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande pulled out all the stops for this legendary kiss-off anthem. In the music video for “Thank U, Next,” she references more than just her past relationship dramas. She also recreates and parodies scenes from iconic films from the early 2000s like “Bring It On,” “Legally Blonde” and, of course, “Mean Girls.” Not only did she bring in cameos from Jennifer Coolidge and Troye Sivan, but she also called on former “Victorious” co-stars Liz Gillies and Matt Bennett to make appearances. Of course, Grande is the star. And she looks absolutely stunning whether she’s emulating Torrance Shipman or Regina George. Talk about queen bee energy.
#9: “Toothbrush” (2016)
DNCE
When you start leaving things like a toothbrush at someone’s place, you know a relationship is getting real. That’s exactly what DNCE explores on their 2016 single “Toothbrush.” Supermodel Ashley Graham plays Jonas’s love interest in the music video. And boy do they play. The video shows the two rolling around in bed, canoodling in the back of a car, and stealing kisses in dark corners. Jonas told Glamour Magazine Graham was the only woman he had in mind when casting the part, and we completely understand why. Not only is she beautiful, but they have an electric chemistry that makes their onscreen relationship believable.
#8: “Crazy” (1994)
Aerosmith
This wasn’t the first time Alicia Silverstone starred in one of Aerosmith’s music videos, but it’s one of our favorites. Silverstone acts with frontman Steven Tyler’s daughter Liv Tyler in one of her first onscreen appearances. The two school girls hop in a black Mustang, ditch their purity rings and head out on their own. After snatching some stuff from a gas station, they enter an amateur pole dancing competition for some cash. While it can absolutely be seen as a stereotypical male fantasy, the hottest part isn’t the stripping or the motel room pillow fight. It’s the tension between Silverstone and Tyler. Even if they are just friends, we still want to know just what was on that photo strip!
#7: “Rush Rush” (1991)
Paula Abdul
This early nineties slow jam captures the impatience and excitement of young love. Fittingly, the music video is an homage to the classic “Rebel Without a Cause,” including some scenes that are shot-for-shot remakes of the film’s most iconic moments. Not only is Paula Abdul gorgeous as Judy, her James Stark is played by a young Keanu Reeves. With“Point Break” and “My Own Private Idaho” soon to be released, Reeves was already making a name for himself as a serious film star. Casting him as Abdul’s leading man just makes sense. Watching them flirt perfectly captures the energy of both the song and the video. And did we mention that kiss right at the end?
#6: “Bad Blood” (2015)
Taylor Swift feat. Kendrick Lamar
Band-aids don’t fix bullet holes. And Taylor Swift called on her army of celebrity gal pals to kick ass, take names and look great doing both. This video is so stuffed with celebrity cameos, we couldn’t possibly list them all here. “Bad Blood” boasts appearances from Hayley Williams, Selena Gomez, Zendaya, Karli Kloss. And that’s just barely starting to scratch the surface. Appearances from Ellen Pompeo and Mariska Hargitay are particularly fun Easter eggs for fans of Swift’s cats Meredith Gray and Olivia Benson. Topping it off with visual references to sci-fi flicks like “Tron: Legacy” and “The Fifth Element” makes something we think is truly iconic.
#5: “M.I.L.F $” (2016)
Fergie
Who said moms can’t look hot and have fun? In the years between Fergie’s debut album “The Dutchess” and its 2016 follow-up “Double Dutchess,,she became a mother. The singer decided to celebrate that on her single “M.I.L.F $.” Fergie’s version of M.I.L.F stands for Mothers I’d Like to Follow to “empower women who do it all.” The music video draws on 1950’s iconography with a sexy twist. And the cast has no shortage of cameos from hot superstar mothers. Chrissy Teigen, Ciara, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Kim Kardashian are just a few of the sexed up Stepford wives featured. Maybe we should move to Milfville.
#4: “What Goes Around…Comes Around” (2007)
Justin Timberlake
Was there anyone cooler in the early 2000’s than Justin Timberlake? By the time his second studio album “FutureSex/LoveSounds” came out, his NSYNC days had been left far behind. The music video for the album’s third single “What Goes Around…Comes Around” shows Timberlake performing in a burlesque club. And his sparkling diamond is none other than Scarlett Johannson. The couple shares hot and heavy exchanges in a dark bedroom as well as the club’s swimming pool. The nine-minute version of the video is more like a short film with extended dialogue sequences. And even more steamy scenes of Timberlake competing for Johannson’s affection.
#3: “S&M” (2011)
Rihanna
Not all press is good press, but sometimes bad press can still be fun. Rihanna certainly has a blast with it on her 2010 single “S&M.” RiRi spends most of the music video wrapped with latex, ropes and other fetish gear. One scene even has her trapped behind a sheet of plastic wrap wearing a dress covered in actual headlines about her. As part of her kinky party jam, she treats infamous celebrity writer Perez Hilton like an obedient little puppy. Plenty of artists have used music videos to fight back against negative press. Not many have had an actual gossip reporter on a leash in one.
#2: “Angry” (2023)
The Rolling Stones
Nothing screams classic rock quite like a hot blonde riding in the back of a hot car. The Rolling Stones proved this when they cast Sydney Sweeney in their music video for “Angry.” Sweeney looks beyond sexy in a black leather crop top and matching chaps. Her blue eyes pierce as she whips her hair down Sunset Boulevard. And she is clearly feeling herself as she writhes and rocks out on the back of a bright red Mercedes convertible. After the music video came out, some critics accused the video of objectifying Sweeney. In response, she told Glamour UK that she didn’t feel objectified. In fact, she “felt hot” in the outfit. Hey, you’ll find no arguments from us.

#1: “WAP” (2020)
Cardi B feat. Megan Thee Stallion
Where do we even begin with this video? This controversial hit from Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion is so dirty, the heavily-edited clean version still sounds filthy. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. The lyrics are a confident celebration of women’s bodies, and the music video put theirs on full display. They use their white hot bars to tell men exactly how they should be treated. There’s not a moment in this video where Cardi and Megan aren’t feeling themselves. Or on each other. “WAP’’s choreography even spawned a viral dance challenge on TikTok. Jaw-dropping cameos from Kylie Jenner, Normani, Rosalia, Rubi Rose, Latto and Sukihana are just icing on the cake.
