We'd volunteer for an adventure with these guys any day! Join MsMojo as we count down our picks for the top 10 Hottest Sci-Fi Studs in TV.

For this list, we're looking at hunks that are stunners both inside and out! The charmers we've chosen reside in a science fiction universe in television shows and are usually good – or at least popular - with the ladies. However, we're steering away from superhero, supernatural and fantasy shows this time around as they deserve their own list.

#10: Max Evans “Roswell” (1999-2002)

Also in:

Top 10 Hottest Women on SyFy

Max, portrayed by the ever-handsome Jason Behr, is a deep thinking, bold and protective guy with special healing powers. He is a very mature character with a strong sense of responsibility. He's definitely the stud you'd want on your team, if only to dazzle you with his otherworldly beauty and chiselled jaw line. Of course, his looks aren’t everything! Max's sacrifices and passion for Liz also illustrate a romance to aspire to, as they are soul mates transcending time and space! If aliens turn out to be as hot as Max Evans, who wouldn't enlist for UFO “surveillance” at Roswell?

#9: Peter Bishop “Fringe” (2008-13)

Also in:

Top 20 Hilarious Peter Griffin Moments on Family Guy

Peter is one of those sexily sarcastic, cynical, boy next-door types. He was born in an alternate universe, is a genius, and speaks many languages, all of which make him someone you don't want to mess with. Yet, he also manages to quietly surprise audiences with his tenderness and empathy. Played by Joshua Jackson, Peter may be a college drop-out con artist, but he also has unusual expertise spanning many fields. There is mystery and angst to Peter that many find very seductive. Though he’s often helping with obscure and mysterious science experiments, the fact that he made this list means his looks and personality definitely aren’t “fringe” but quite appealing indeed!

#8: Bellamy Blake “The 100” (2014-)

“The 100” is a post-apocalyptic drama that features a very sexy cast of mountain-romping characters, but for this entry, we’re specifically focusing on the irresistible, Bellamy Blake. Morphing between power hungry selfish bad boy to the super helpful guy just trying to do the right thing, Bellamy ropes us along with his caring streak and washboard abs. Bellamy is notorious for looking grimy, and yet still being good with women thanks to his coveted shirtless appearances. Let's just say that the post-apocalypse looks amazing on him. As co-leader of The 100, he’s willing to do what's necessary for his people. With an adaptable moral compass, he can be the guy you want on your side, by your side, or inside your military bungalow tent!

#7: Tenth Doctor “Doctor Who” (2005-10)

David Tennant plays one of the most celebrated Doctors of this long-running BBC sci-fi programme. As the 10th Doctor, the actor succeeds in his complex portrayal of a charming and energetic character that is haunted by his own guilt. His long swishy coat, raised eyebrow, messy coiffed hair and sideburns have become almost a trademarked look since his materialization. Though sci-fi isn't the genre for everyone, David Tennant's physical appeal and magnetism makes it universally enjoyable to watch. With companion Jack Harkness his side (xref), this dynamic duo would be the dream team... to time travel with, of course. And we gotta admit; we can’t help but be entertained when the two dashing lads engage in friendly ribbing – which they are wont to do at times even in dire circumstances!

#6: Lee ‘Apollo’ Adama “Battlestar Galactica” (2004-09)

Also in:

Top 10 Hottest TV Show Casts

Played by English actor Jamie Bamber, Lee Adama is a space battleship commanding officer that rocks his uniform with his chiselled body. He is also a headstrong character with a great work ethic. He often finds himself in the presence of Starbuck, who is a fierce female character that complements Lee by heightening his attractive qualities. However, his physical appearance doesn’t actually require any leading ladies to confirm it, as his walking around in a towel is enough to confirm his studli-ness as it is. Oh and he also loves to cook… and who doesn’t love that quality in a man?!

#5: Fox Mulder “The X-Files” (1993-2002; 2016)

Also in:

Top 20 Best X-Files Episodes

There's something about Mulder. This FBI Special Agent’s his dry humor, persistence and creative problem-solving skills really get the ladies going! He also has a roguish puppy dog attitude that many fans of “The X-Files” find endearing. While Mulder's occasional anti-science and conspiratorial tendencies get his partner Scully down, he lures her back in with his comedic timing and lovable irreverence. Throughout the series, Mulder and Scully have sexy polarized banter and a chemistry between them that is as inexplicable as most of their cases! In short, he’s a true hottie with a mind and a body – and fans were fortunate to be able to uncover more about the entrancing Mulder when the series was revived in 2016 after the original TV show stopped airing in 2002.

#4: James ‘Sawyer’ Ford “Lost” (2004-10)

Also in:

Another Top 10 James Corden Carpool Karaoke Performances

From the beginning of “Lost”, Sawyer is groomed to be the rambunctious anti-hero. His sarcastic lone wolf, as well as his tortured and flirtatious traits make him an obvious ladies' man. However, there's a caring sweet guy inside the jaded bad boy, and we see this when his character evolves to handle more team-oriented approaches. Not only does Sawyer change into a more attractively mature guy, he also takes on a role as a leader and hero. His lean but fit physique and personality certainly help keep the ladies interested, as is demonstrated when he cozies up with a couple of the show’s sexiest and coolest women!

#3: Paul Dierden “Orphan Black” (2013-)

Portrayed by Dylan Bruce, Paul appears to be a cold military buff, but he actually has an ambiguous soft spot for Sarah in the hit show, “Orphan Black.” He also probably spends as much time with Sarah and her pals as he does crafting his rock hard body. We're not complaining though. This stone cold fox has stud written all over him. From his first appearance, Sarah questions whether he is a friend or foe, and this makes the underlying mystery an intriguing part of his sexiness. Is Paul an Homme Fatale or a life-saving lover? Either way, he's hot as hell.

#2: Malcolm Reynolds “Firefly” (2002)

Also in:

Top 10 Hilarious Malcolm in the Middle Running Gags

Do you want a handsome renegade Captain with a penchant for breaking the law, but rarely his own personal moral code? Yes, please! As the hottest, funniest, and, perhaps only viable, space-cowboy around, Mal surely rocked the ladies of this sci-fi series. He may be a survivor who has endured unknown suffering, but he still manages to keep his wits about him and protect his people. Though the romantic tension between Mal and Inara kept fans hungry for more, unfortunately the show was cancelled way before its time! At least some answers can be found in the 2005 movie follow-up “Serenity”, which features much of the same cast. All this to say: if you can look past his criminal tendencies, Mal is one very charming guy! Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honourable mentions: Alec McDowell / X5-494 “Dark Angel” (2000-02) James T. Kirk “Star Trek” (1966-) Hal Mason “Falling Skies” (2011-15) Jin-Soo Kwon “Lost” (2004-10)

#1: Jack Shephard “Lost” (2004-10)

Also in:

Top 10 Times Samurai Jack Went Beast Mode

In “Lost,” Jack is a natural leader and moral guide who helps his fellow plane crash survivors navigate their new circumstances on the island. Jack's knowledge and skill as a spinal surgeon make him especially instrumental among the wounded and injured. Through Jack’s confrontation of his suppressed feelings that he could never fulfil his father’s expectations, we see his sexy angst and vulnerability unfold. Meanwhile, his tattoos, physique, ethical code, charisma and compassion make him an obvious stud. If we were stranded on an island with one person of our choosing, there’s no doubt that we’d pick Jack Shephard as OUR companion! Do you agree with our list?
