Her fans know her as Mother Monster. Welcome to WatchMojo.com, and today we’re counting down our picks for the top 10 Lady Gaga songs.

For this list, we’ve chosen our entries based on a combination of the artist’s fan favorites and their most commercially successful songs.

#10: “Telephone” feat. Beyoncé
The Fame Monster (2009)

Found on The Fame Monster EP, this 3-and-a-half minute track has Lady Gaga tackling her fear of suffocation with Beyoncé Knowles in tow. Beginning with some harp and Gaga’s soft vocals, “Telephone” quickly grabs you in with its electro and dance pop beat. It’s so catchy and critically well-received that it hit the Billboard Hot 100’s top 3 and earned a Grammy nod. It was also accompanied by a short film that followed the events in the “Paparazzi” music video.

#9: “Born This Way”
Born This Way (2011)

Despite comparisons to Madonna’s “Express Yourself,” the title track from Gaga’s sophomore effort became the artist’s third Hot 100 chart-topper. With a fierce groove and empowering message, “Born This Way” has dance-club hit written all over it. Selling more than 8 million copies, the dance and synthpop number has also attracted praise for its anthemic nature and memorable music video.

#8: “Do What U Want” feat. R. Kelly
Artpop (2013)

While R. Kelly was recruited to lend this Artpop single some smooth R&B vibes, “Do What U Want” still features Gaga’s signature upbeat style. Adding synths to her well-known pop sound, Mother Monster confidently belts out this song’s lyrics. The song also shows that simplicity can be a good thing, as demonstrated by the fact that it was critically lauded and charted within the Hot 100’s top 20.

#7: “LoveGame”
The Fame (2008)

The underground world of New York didn’t only inspire the lyrics of this single off The Fame, it also influenced the song’s electro and dance-pop vibe and corresponding music video. With sexually charged lyrics, an unforgettable hook and radio-ready feel, “LoveGame” reached the Hot 100’s top 5. It also charted with the top 10 of numerous other countries’ charts.

#6: “Speechless”
The Fame Monster (2009)

This song off The Fame Monster may not have been an official single, but it still cracked the Hot 100. With personal lyrics directed to her father and touching upon fear of death, “Speechless” is a Queen-inspired power ballad with a retro sound. Thanks to its ability to show off Gaga’s softer side, the song has also been a favorite of the singer for live performances.

#5: “The Edge of Glory”
Born This Way (2011)

First intended as only a promo single, “The Edge of Glory” caught on so well it was selected as Born This Way’s third official success. Inspired by her grandfather and life’s final moments, this pop number successfully combines a rousing hook, soulful vocals and Clarence Clemons’ sax-playing to nab Gaga another Hot 100 top 10.

#4: “Paparazzi”
The Fame (2008)

Being famous isn’t easy, especially in this day and age where it seems the media and tabloids will try anything to get a story and a photo. Found on the appropriately titled album The Fame, “Paparazzi” has Gaga dealing with the downsides of life in the public eye alongside a fun and crafty beat. Add a singable chorus and you’ve got another top 10 dance-pop smash.

#3: “Just Dance” feat. Colby O’Donis
The Fame (2008)

Though it took several months to do it, Gaga achieved her very first chart-topper with her very first single ever. While featuring some R&B flavors, “Just Dance” stands out for its synthesizers and energetic electronic beats. As our introduction to the artist later dubbed Mother Monster, it had critics raving while clubbers everywhere couldn’t help but “just dance” along.

#2: “Poker Face”
The Fame (2008)

Gaga’s second-ever single hits the second spot on our list. After being immediately dragged in by its synthpop hook, we find ourselves captivated by the song’s dark mood and Gaga’s electronic vocals. Meanwhile, its fast pace and a chorus that quickly etches itself into your mind helped the singer top multiple charts around the world, including the Billboard Hot 100.

Before we unveil our number one pick, here are a few honorable mentions:
- “Applause” Artpop (2013)
- “Alejandro” The Fame Monster (2009)
- “G.U.Y.” Artpop (2013)
- “I Like It Rough” The Fame (2008)
- “Dance in the Dark” The Fame Monster (2009)

#1: “Bad Romance”
The Fame Monster (2009)

Topping our list is the Lady Gaga track that sees her teaming up with songwriter RedOne to produce one of the best-selling singles ever. “Bad Romance” is a majestic blend of house, techno, dance and pop that’s complemented by memorable lyrics and a chorus you just can’t get out of your head. While it reached the Hot 100’s second spot and earned the singer a Grammy, it’s the track’s sexy vibe, lively beat and club-banging nature that keeps us coming back for more.
