Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the celebrities who have faced the most backlash so far in 2025.

#10: Blake Lively & Justin Baldoni

As 2024 came to an end, a legal battle erupted between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni over their highly publicized dispute during the production of “It Ends with Us.” Lively surfaced first with a bombshell suit alleging Baldoni caused her “severe emotional distress” and orchestrated a social media “smear campaign” with a crisis PR firm. Baldoni followed with a $400 million countersuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, accusing the power couple of defamation, civil extortion, and interfering with his career. As more lawsuits mount, both stars face a worsening PR nightmare in 2025. It's evident that this he-said-she-said quarrel is majorly harming both stars’ public appeal.

#9: Andrew Tate

Andrew Tate’s reputation was already controversial, but 2025 has brought new allegations and legal troubles that have further cemented his status as one of the most disliked figures on the internet. The social media influencer is facing a new lawsuit from ex-girlfriend Brianna Stern, accusing him of indecent assault and battery. She claims Tate lured her into an abusive relationship and caused her physical harm. This adds to Tate’s existing legal troubles in Romania, where he and his brother were charged with trafficking and exploitation. Through his attorney, Tate denies all the allegations, but with mounting public outrage, his influence appears to be waning in a big way.

#8: JoJo Siwa

JoJo Siwa has gone from child star to one of the most polarizing figures in entertainment. In 2025, her drastic image overhaul continues to leave long-time fans confused. While she’s defended her transformation as artistic expression, critics argue she’s trying too hard to be edgy and that her new persona comes across as laughable. Also sparking a mixed reaction from the public is Siwa's "Dream Guest VIP" concert package. Priced at over $900, it includes fans helping her crew “set up” and “put together” her concert. With many decrying the nature of the "perk,” JoJo continues to be one of the most talked about - and criticized - figures in show biz.

#7: Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan was once the face of professional wrestling. Even his infamous "heel turn" was embraced as a bold reinvention. However, his legacy has since faltered, thanks mostly to a leaked tape exposing racist remarks. Meanwhile, past “locker room politics” and a history of exaggeration have further tarnished his rep. In 2025, Hogan remains in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Fans in Montgomery, New York, claim he abruptly left a scheduled appearance, leaving them stranded after hours of waiting. Hulk is also caught in a nasty public feud between ex-wife Linda and estranged daughter Brooke. Did we mention he nearly got booed out of the building during “WWE Raw’s” January Netflix debut?

#6: Alec Baldwin & Hilaria Baldwin

The Baldwins are no stranger to public scrutiny – and 2025 is proving no exception. The couple sparked quite the firestorm after Hilaria snapped at Alec for interrupting her in a viral red-carpet interview, with both Alec and Hilaria drawing criticism for their part in the awkward exchange. Meanwhile, the couple has been called out over their new reality series. The “fly on the wall” look at their family in the lead up to Alec's “Rust” trial has been lambasted for being in extremely poor taste. The pair’s social media presence has also done little to help their reputation, with many calling their posts out of touch.

#5: Karla Sofía Gascón

Karla Sofía Gascón made history as the first openly transgender person nominated in an acting category at the Oscars, but her achievement was overshadowed by controversy. Gascón initially faced criticism for her social media comments about Best Picture nominee “I’m Still Here” and fellow Best Actress contender Fernanda Torres, later apologizing for implying Torres was involved in online negativity. Meanwhile, older offensive posts also resurfaced, including insensitive remarks about George Floyd. Gascón deleted the posts and deactivated her X account, but the controversy had already taken its toll and she continues to be a lightning rod for debate as the year rolls on.

#4: Kanye West

Will Kanye West ever regain public favor? Not if 2025 is any indication. Once considered “un-cancelable,” Ye’s ongoing controversies - marked by antisemitic remarks, strange behavior, and provocative stunts - have strengthened his status as one of pop culture’s most polarizing figures. So far this year, Kanye has sparked outrage by selling highly offensive shirts featuring a hate symbol on his website. He also faced backlash for his ex, Bianca Censori’s, nearly nude appearance on the Grammys red-carpet - reportedly his idea. Despite the criticism, Kanye remains outspoken, posting erratically on social media and leaving the public both perplexed and increasingly concerned about his well-being.

#3: Rachel Zegler

Rachel Zegler is facing a rough year, especially with “Snow White” flopping at the box office. Of course, her casting in the film was fiercely criticized from the get-go with some arguing the role should have gone to a Caucasian actress, while others felt a more established star was better suited. Zegler also openly criticized the original “Snow White,” calling it outdated and sexist, further alienating fans. Plus, she and co-star Gal Gadot have clashed over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, while conservatives have targeted her for denouncing Donald Trump’s presidential victory. With controversy following her at every turn, public support for Zegler is nearly non-existent.

#2: Elon Musk

Whether he’s a visionary leading humanity to new heights or an outsider intent on dismantling the U.S. government, there’s no denying Elon Musk’s appetite for attention – for better or worse. 2025 started with Musk giving a highly speculative salute at Donald Trump’s victory rally and later wielding a chainsaw at a conservative event. Meanwhile, “takedown Tesla” protests are being seen across the globe, with activists targeting the CEO and his Tesla dealerships. They are encouraging the public to sell their Tesla electric vehicles, "dump" their stock and “stop Elon Musk.” Musk sure has a knack for staying in the spotlight, but how much is it costing him in the long run?

#1: Sean “Diddy” Combs

While 2024 solidified Sean “Diddy” Combs’ place as the most reviled name in Hollywood, 2025 seems set to retain that status. Facing federal charges including racketeering, trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion, Diddy is scheduled for trial in May. Prosecutors will detail an alleged criminal enterprise involving forced labor, kidnapping, and bribery – not to mention his so-called “Freak Offs.” The disgraced rapper also continues to face an onslaught of civil lawsuits alleging various unlawful acts against men, women, and even youths. While Combs has denied all allegations, each new revelation fuels public outrage, putting him on course to be 2025’s most disliked celebrity by a wide margin.

Which celebrity has raised your ire so far in 2025? Let’s chat in the comments.
