When worlds collide, chaos ensues! Join http://www.WatchMojo.com as we count down our picks for the Top 10 Most Wanted Anime Crossovers.

For this list, we've put together the anime that we believe would complement each other well, should they ever crossover into a shared universe. It can be silly as hell, utterly badass or curiously fitting, just so long as there is an obvious thread that can tie the two together.

When worlds collide, chaos ensues! Welcome to WatchMojo.com and today we are counting down our picks for the top ten most wanted anime crossovers! For this list, we’ve put together the anime that we believe would complement each other well, should they ever crossover into a shared universe. It can be silly as hell, utterly badass or curiously fitting, just so long as there is an obvious thread that can tie the two together.

#10: “One Punch Man x Haven’t You Heard, I’m Sakamoto”

Top 10 Funniest Anime Characters

The world’s strongest superhero and the most perfect of students are impossible to beat by themselves. Throw them into an apartment together and you have the making of a duo so awesome that they would be practically untouchable, even by the most heinous of villains and jealous of classmates. Saitama can demolish anything from monsters to meteors with a single blow, while Sakamoto can solve any problem while remaining as cool as can be. Whether it’s defending the Earth, wooing the ladies or practically any other odds that come their way, the comedic possibility for these two is extraordinary. Let’s just hope Genos doesn’t get too jealous.

#9: “Fist of the North Star x JoJo’s Bizarre's Adventure”

Top 10 Brutal Fist Fights in Anime

Do you like your anime protagonists so manly that the very air they breathe is thick with testosterone? Well look no further than the master of Hokuto Shinken and the Joestar Family. Picture the likes of Joseph Joestar or Jotaro Kujo transported to the year 199X, where they form the manliest of macho friendships with the lone survivor Kenshiro. They would travel through the wastelands, blowing up and pummelling in the heads of murderers and savages, leading up to a climactic battle with the likes of Shin and Dio Brando. The result would probably cause the shared universe to collapse under the weight of those massive eyebrows.

#8: “Yu YuHakasho x Hunter x Hunter”

Top 10 Anime Characters With Insane Hidden Powers

Though their worlds may be vastly different, it’s easy to imagine Yoshihiro Togashi’s most famous works crossing over. Each has four relatable and dynamic characters, leading to an epic team up should they encounter a common threat, and considering their line of work, that’s a very distinct possibility. Not only would the battle sequences kick ass, but also the idea of the two groups interacting would certainly warrant a few laughs. Can you imagine Yusuke and Gon bonding over some severe father issues, or Hiei and Killua silently brooding? Hmm, tournament arc anyone?

#7: “Sword Art Online x Log Horizon”

Also in:

Top 10 Anime Sword Fights

With virtual reality not too far away, it certainly won’t be long before gamers can inhabit avatars similar to those seen in these two series. As such, it stands to reason that in this technologically advanced future, two MMORPGS crossing over into each isn’t such a huge leap. Let’s just hope we wont be getting trapped inside them, like these guys. The clash of personalities between the outgoing, sword-wielding ladies-man Kirito and the more reserved Guild Master Shiroe would serve as a great driving force for a crossover, not to mention all the crazy enemies that can be conjured up when two fantasy games mash together.

#6: “Space Dandy x Redline”

They are perhaps the most unlikely heroes in the entire universe. Dandy is the captain of a crew that only consists of himself, a robot and a talking, alien cat, while JP is a lone human taking part in the most dangerous race in the galaxy. Both face insurmountable odds, with Dandy having the Gogol Empire on his back and JP being the only racer to purposely refrain from adding weapons to his vehicle. Both animations boasted impressive racing sequences, that left us begging for more – perhaps this could be our chance? Plus it would be an excuse for two of anime’s greatest hairdos to finally meet. We’ll aptly name this one “Pompadour x Pompadour”.

#5: “Digimon x Pokemon”

Also in:

Pokemon vs Digimon

Ok, we’ve all wanted this one since we were kids. The Pocket Monsters and Digital Monsters have many similarities between them, but just enough differences that would make a crossover between Ash’s crew and the Digi-Destined an enjoyable one. Though if we were being perfectly honest what we’re really looking for is an all-out brawl! We could see Charizard and Greymon lock claws in battle, maybe even throw in a few legendaries like Mewtwo and Rayquaza against Mega Evolutions like Gallantmon and MetalGarurumon. No matter who would come out on top, it’s pretty much guaranteed that Team Rocket will end up blasting off again.

#4: “Naruto x One Piece”

Also in:

Top 10 Naruto and Sasuke Team-Up Fights

Ah, the age old question; ninja or pirate? Naruto Uzumaki and Monkey D. Luffy are two of anime’s most beloved protagonists, and seem to have a lot in common. They both share the dream to become the very best and will do anything to protect their friends, so there’s really no doubt these two would get along like a house on fire. Their huge ensemble casts also leave plenty of room for earth-shattering fight-scenes. Zoro and Sasuke would more than likely end up butting heads while Jiraya and Sanji would lose their minds over some lovely ladies. Truly a match made in swashbuckling, ninjutsu heaven.

#3: “Kuroko no Basket x Slam Dunk”

What better excuse for a crossover than a sports tournament? While anime has managed to turn everything from boxing to volleyball into action-packed spectacles, nothing compares to these series based around basketball! Seiren and Shohoku are arguably amongst the best fictional teams in all of Japan, and a match between the two would not only be a contest of skill, but also a mesh of old and new generations due to the almost twenty year difference between the two. Hanamichi Sakuragi’s delinquent nature and natural skill on the court against Kagami Taiga’s mastery of The Zone would ensure that this would become the greatest basketball showdowns in all of anime.

#2: “K-ON! X Highschool of the Dead”

Top 10 Anime Villains We Wanted To Win

We adore the members of the Light Music Club for their adorable personalities and drive to make their music dreams come true. But you know what would be even better? If they had to deal with a zombie apocalypse. While Yui, Mio and the rest are in no-way as promiscuous as characters like Saeko, whose assets seem to have the power to dodge bullets, we can’t shake the idea that these five innocent girls beating the ever-loving crap out of hordes of zombies with guitars and surviving on rations of delicious treats, would be all kinds of amazing. Who knows, maybe Mugi has a mean streak? Before we reveal our number one pick here are a few honourable mentions. “Nichijou x Daily Lives of High School Boys” “Fairy Tail x One Piece” “Tokyo Ghoul x Parasyte”

#1: “Berserk x Attack on Titan”

Top 10 Anime Scenes Where the Hero Goes Berserk

The Titans are wandering giants that live only to devour human flesh, and are incredibly difficult for the average human to take down. As such, they’re slowly reducing humanity towards extinction. It’s in these kinds of situations that you call in the Black Swordsman! Despite missing an arm and an eye, Guts is a one-man killing machine who has fought soldiers, beasts and Apostles of all sizes. Considering it’s his mission in life to slay the God hand for mutilating him and violating his beloved, the Titans would just be fodder for his gigantic blade. In fact, just putting the likes of Guts and Levi together provides a duo that could lay waste to every monster (or scumbag) they come across. Do you agree with our list?
