We need a team of teenagers with attitude and great fashion sense. Welcome to WatchMojo.com and today we’ll be counting down the Top 10 Power Rangers Outfits. For this list, we’ll be taking a look at each of the Power Rangers Seasons and rating the brightly colored spandex suits. We’ll be taking the whole team into account, so if there’s a unique rangerdesign that stands out, it’ll be mentioned in the team’s entry.

#10: “Power Rangers Zeo” (1996-97)

Top 10 Dumbest Decisions in Power Rangers

Zeo are all decked out in your basic 80's punk band ensemble. They've scaled back the complexity of the helmets preferring just a smooth egg-like head protector but with a twist: they have shapes for their visors. Each shape representing their ranger number by the number of sides they have. Get it, The Red Ranger is zeo Ranger 5 and his star has … ahh nevermind. All in all a striking ensemble sure to leave your enemies blinded by sheer awesome.

#9: “Power Rangers Turbo” (1997-98)

While we’re seeing the rangers ride around in supped up vehicles, their outfits got overhauled for a race car desing. Plenty of black trim and the helmets have a little additional design in chrome silver, you know just like actual cars. Perhaps the more controversial design choice was the inclusion of what looked like a high visibility reflector on the chests. Something that worked in the Japanese equivalent “CarRanger” which was a parody series, in Turbo ... it still looks ok.

#8: “Power Rangers Super Megaforce” (2013)

Top 10 Jason David Frank Tommy Oliver Moments In Power Rangers

Not since the time of Mighty Morphin has there been such a brazen disregard for the English language: Power Ranger Super-Mega-Force. But what's new here? Well the theme according to the title is totally unclear, but what we've got are pirates. That means high top boots with folded rims, that means skull and crossbones on the chest and that means popped collars for all. Everyone gets a captain Jack Sparrow pea coat and dainty white gloves.

#7: “Power Rangers Dino Thunder” (2004)

Also in:

Top 20 Power Rangers Weapons

From day one Power Rangers had the whole dinosaur angle covered. But this series really drives the point home. You like dinosaurs? Well we've got em. They have stripes down the sides, dinosaur prints on the chest and gold trim all over. They're helmets are a lot like the originals but sleeker, more stream-lined. Though the standout design has to go to the White Ranger, with a terrifying red visor and a teeth like black and white design, he’s definatly someone you don’t want to meet in a back alley.

#6: “Power Rangers Wild Force” (2002-03)

Also in:

Top 20 Shocking Power Rangers Scandals

This year’s ranger outfit comes complete with gold bands across the chest, and just like Zeo, said gold bars represent their ranger number. This time around white is the new pink although her skirt and collar retains some pink strips, no comment there. Also, animal helmets! That’s where the budget went: these helmets come with their own specific animals designs.

#5: “Power Rangers in Space” (1998-99)

Also in:

Top 20 Red Power Rangers

These ones use the same color pallet as the original series but they've got these colour boxes along the front of their torso, like rank in the army. The 6th ranger also saw the first use of a silveroutfit, this one ditches the colored boxes in favour off … err computer chips? They also have these weird orb things on their helmets, it was a feature used in the show’s Japanese counterpart “Megaranger” to display their symbols but here they’re … sunroofs for your helmet.

#4: “Power Rangers SPD” (2005-06)

Top 10 Hidden Details in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury

Now we're really onto something here. Tailor-made and form fitting like a superhero should have. As for the helmets they brought back the silver mouthpiece but omitted the weird lip moulds. Half of the torso is now black and once again, they're all numbered! We also got the badass looking SWAT gear which give the suits a military like design. Oh and given the police theme of the show the suits have flashing lights galore.

#3: “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” (1993-95)

Also in:

The Dark Story Behind Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

A lot of you might be surprised not to see this one as number one just by sheer popularity, but this isn’t a popularity contest: it’s a fashion show … with sparks and lasers. So let’s get into this. Crazy cool helmets with silver mouthpiece moulds, giant diamond shapes on the front, cool dinosaur designs on the top, what's not to like? Everyone gets a pair of knee high boots to facilitate ass kicking. But come on, we all wanted to be the Green Ranger as a kid with that sweet looking overshield. Don’t Lie.

#2: “Power Rangers Ninja Storm” (2003-04)

Also in:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vs Power Rangers

Ninja storm blends the classic ranger attire with, you guessed it, ninjas. The helmet visors are shaped like the classic representation of a ninja, and they can even retract to reveal the rangers’ faces. However on top of the cool designs what makes this one stand out is that the team is actually formed from 2 different Ranger Teams, The Wind Rangers with the grey sleeves and leggings. And the Thunder Rangers, with gold shoulder pads and knee guards. And just like the original series the 6th Green Ranger brings back the gold overshield. Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honourable mentions: “Power Rangers Samurai” (2011-13) "Power Rangers Lost Galaxy” (1999-00) “Power Rangers RPM” (2009) “Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers” (1996) “Power Rangers Dino Charge” (2015)

#1: “Time Force” (2001-02)

Top 10 Characters from The Crown We Wish Got More Screen Time

These outfits are a classic example of looking stylish while fighting. With a futuristic theme their visors are completely covered by a downward arrow shape, Contrary to popular belief however, the actors had no trouble seeing out of them as they’re actually tinted visors. And while other suits have incorporated their morphers into the suits in the past as subtly as a walkman, here, they fit like a stylish watch, which just so happens to blend well with silver bracers over the forearms. Kind of like Wonder Woman, but way cooler. Do you agree with our list? Which ranger outfit did you want to wear as a kid?
