Top 10 Reality Show Couples
VOICE OVER: Samantha Clinch WRITTEN BY: Taryn Crankshaw
These reality show couples know how to keep things interesting. For this list, we'll be looking at the couplings who met and fell in love under the spotlight of reality television. Our countdown includes Jeff Schroeder & Jordan Lloyd, Emma Slater & Sasha Farber, Trista Rehn & Ryan Sutter, and more!

#10: Lauren Speed & Cameron Hamilton

Netflix subscribers went wild for “Love is Blind” when it premiered in 2020. The reality show where singletons meet and fall in love without ever seeing each other is an experiment to see if love at first sight exists. While it didn’t work out for everyone for participants Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed, the risk paid off. From their initial meeting to their wedding day, it was clear that there was an instant spark. Nearly two years after the first season, their romance is hotter than ever, proving that they are a match made in reality television heaven.

#9: Whitney Duncan & Keith Tollefson

During the “Survivor: South Pacific” reunion, a major bomb was dropped when it was revealed that two contestants were in a relationship. As it turned out, cast members Whitney Duncan and Keith Tollefson fell in love filming the 23rd season of the competition. No stranger to reality tv “Nashville Star” alumni, Duncan was still married at the time when she and Tollefson started to see each other. After her divorce, the two married and began their lives together. After saying “I Do,” they competed on “The Amazing Race,” continuing their reality journey side by side.

#8: Jeff Schroeder & Jordan Lloyd

When it comes to "Big Brother," you never know who to trust. With alliances and relationships constantly shifting, genuine bonds can rarely form. However, participants Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd defied that notion. Competing on season 11, Lloyd not only walked away with the winning title but a partner for life. The pair's reality credits didn't stop with "Brother," as they have appeared on several other series as well as keeping busy with a couples’ YouTube channel, and family life. In 2021, Jeff and Jordan announced that they would be co-hosting a new series of their own called "This You Need to See," bringing their reality romance full circle.

#7: Amber Brkich & Rob Mariano

Before phenomenons like the “Bachelor” franchise were pumping out couple after couple, “Survivor” gave us one of the first ever reality show romances. Constants Rob Mariano, affectionately known as “Boston Rob,” and Amber Brkich met while competing on the series. Surviving wild challenges and harsh living conditions, the tough as nails duo roughed it out together, creating a bond that lasted well after their time on the show. Marino popped the question to Brkich live on air. Afterwards, they formed the strongest alliance of all by getting hitched. Which, naturally, was chronicled in another reality show. They have gone on to start a family and continue to appear on competition based series like “The Amazing Race.”

#6: Emma Slater & Sasha Farber

This couple waltzed right into each other's hearts. Working as professional dancers on "Dancing with the Stars," Emma Slater and Sasha Farber fell in love on the dance floor. During a taping of the show, Farber got down on one knee in front of millions of viewers. The extra special proposal led to the couple walking down the aisle in 2018. Their guests included "DWTS" friends like Julianne Hough, and Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec, who also met and fell in love because of the show. Judging by their talents, there's no doubt that this couple's first dance was nothing short of perfect.

#5: Stephen "tWitch" Boss & Allison Holker

Known for his DJ skills as Ellen DeGeneres's right hand man on "The Ellen Show," Stephen "tWitch" Boss started his career on "So You Think You Can Dance." After finishing as season 4's runner-up, Boss returned for season 7, where he got the surprise of a lifetime when he met Allison Holker. A competitor from season 2, she was also one of the invited back dancers and soon enough, the two were crushing hard. Since then the two have gone on to marry and raise a beautiful family, and continue as partners in every sense of the word. Sharing their moves with the world, the duo often posts clips of them busting moves on social media, melting hearts with every step.

#4: Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi & Jionni LaValle

Anyone who’s watched MTV’s “Jersey Shore” knows the number rule is “Don’t fall in love at the Jersey Shore.” Never one to play by the rules, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi did just the opposite and found her soulmate in Jionni LaValle during her time on the series. Despite some drama and tension during the early stages of their relationship, the pair remained committed to each other. Ultimately, they ended up marrying and starting a family. All grown up and settled down, the pair appear on shows like “Nicole and Jionni’s Shore Flip,” where there is less drama but lots of love.

#3: Jenna Johnson & Val Chmerkovskiy

“Dancing with the Stars” sure has an excellent track record of creating couples. (xref) Pros Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are a fan favorite example. And it seems that workplace romance runs in the family. Like his older brother, Val Chmerkovskiy has been keeping his romance with Jenna Johnson burning hot both on and off of the dancefloor. Meeting while working on “Dancing with the Stars,” the two performers broke up at one point, but they found their way back to each other and have stayed there ever since. One epic Italian proposal later, the two tied the knot in 2019. Guests included “DWTS” alums like Nikki Bella and Laurie Hernandez, who watched on as the two strutted off into the sunset.

#2: Trista Rehn & Ryan Sutter

Proving that love can last even in the world of reality television, “Bachelor” nation alumni Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter are pure couple goals. As the OG “Bachelorette” couple, the firefighter and the former physical therapy student met, fell in love and got married while the entire world looked on. Given the intense pressure of the public eye, it’s easy to see how some couplings can easily crumble. However, the two remain intact, going on to raise a family, and settling in Colorado. This couple has become an undisputed legend in the “Bachelor” hall of fame.
