Will really lights up whenever he talks about April. Although April isn’t Maya’s mom, the kid pushes her dad to go after the woman from his stories. While Will is doubtful April will want to give him a chance, he decides to go to her door anyway. It’s not long before the two are in each other’s arms again. Maya’s encouragement was just what Will needed to reunite with his greatest love.

Eleanor took the over-protective mother-in-law trope to a new level in “Crazy Rich Asians”. She was consistently ruthless to her son’s girlfriend Rachel. And despite Nick’s best efforts, he couldn’t get Eleanor to be any more welcoming. After Rachel was so heavily mistreated, we honestly expected her to run away from Nick and his family. But she squared her shoulders and confronted Eleanor in a mahjong parlor. Although Rachel could’ve won, she throws the game to make a strong point about how she is in control of her fate. Her scary calm and boldness makes Eleanor realize how wrong she’s been. Thanks to one game of mahjong, Rachel finally got the blessing to join Nick’s family.

While a lot of couples might not want to talk about death, Gus and Hazel were different. Their experiences with cancer made them determined to write their eulogies while they were still alive. Although Gus could’ve gone ahead and written one for Hazel on his own, he tries to get her favorite author to help.. Hazel later gets to read the message that Gus delivered to the writer. During this emotional scene, we hear him say some beautiful and heart wrenching words about Hazel. While getting in touch a writer Hazel adored was a great idea, Gus honestly didn’t need any help writing a fantastic eulogy.
