#10:“Close” (2016)
Nick Jonas feat. Tove Lo
Staying true to the song’s title, this video begins with close-up shots of Nick Jonas planted in a chair, his body being jolted around by some unseen force. The scene quickly evolves to show Jonas and Tove Lo singing to one another from across the room. Their instincts take over, passionately thrusting them to and from one another, though they never touch. They shed their clothing with each lustful leap forward, until the tension is too thick and the passion too intimate, and they finally connect.
#9: “Closer” (2016)
The Chainsmokers feat. Halsey
The video for this summer 2016 anthem visually brings to life the song’s relatable story of love lost. Jumping between two story lines, we follow Chainsmokers’ lead singer Andrew Taggart and guest singer Halsey as they see one another at a party, both looking beautiful. Flashing back to the past, we see their passionate relationship. Our window into history shows the two at their most intimate, craving each other over and over again. The gorgeous Halsey is dressed in little more than lingerie, while Taggart, a certified hunk himself, is shirtless. Their passion is contagious, capturing the fiery connection every couple desires.
#8: “The Other Side” (2013)
Jason Derulo
Kudos to everyone out there who can dance, because it’s downright sexy. Here, we get a taste of Derulo and his moves. He sports a tight white tank top, showing off his impressive physique as he and a dance crew break out provocative thrusts. Complimenting these scenes are cuts of Derulo and actress Erika Marosi, getting physical. Marosi and Derulo each know how to work their bodies, bringing a sexual charge to each scene. They also have amazing chemistry, so the viewer can grasp the sexual energy the couple feel each time they give in to their impulses and lust over one another. So while his video for Naked is hot, this one’s steaming.
#7: “Work” (2016)
Rihanna feat. Drake
One of the reigning queens of sex appeal, Rihanna knows exactly how to set the mood. Her “Work” video, which clocks in at over 7 minutes long, is essentially divided into two parts. The first is a club scene, shot mostly in slow motion, that’s filled with lots of grinding and close-up shots of ladies and gentlemen getting well-acquainted, if you catch our drift. The second part sees Rihanna and Drake alone in a neon decor room. With Drake on the couch, Rihanna puts on a show with her moves. The way she controls her body epitomizes female sexual empowerment, as she owns her sexiness and dominates the mood.
#6: “U Got It Bad” (2001)
Usher
While we know Usher has an endless arsenal of dance moves designed to make a woman melt, for this video, he only needed one. Half the video is the story of Usher longing for his ex, while the other half sees him singing his heart out while dancing. His most utilized move? A sensual hip thrust. Let’s soak that up for a moment… The other half of the video isn’t too bad either. You may see Usher shirtless and showing off his abs; you may also see him giving in to his passion and pain as he breaks down in the pouring rain. Whatever it is that sets you off, Usher’s got it.
#5: “Make Me…” (2016)
Britney Spears feat. G-Eazy
Britney and her creative team made this one steamy on several different levels. For starters, we’ll give it to the lead singer, she hasn’t lost a step. In revealing lingerie, she works the twerk all by herself in a smoky hallway. Then there’s the story of the video, where she and a group of fellow ladies screen test a bunch of gorgeous men competing to star in a Britney video. They break out the abs and bust out their best pelvic thrusts to get the girls all hot and bothered. Finally, Britney takes over and decides the screen testing is over, taking the winner and getting it on! If this video’s an indication of anything, it’s that Britney’s still got it.
#4: “Any Time, Any Place” (1993)
Janet Jackson
In our next entry, the lovely Janet Jackson takes the ‘steamy’ vibe in another direction, with her song “Any Time, Any Place”, serving as a message about safe sex. Keeping the title in mind, however, the original video is still plenty sensual. Then there’s the second video, made to fit the R. Kelly remix of the track, and that one gets down and dirty. It still promotes responsibility, but it’s far more explicit. Regardless, both videos are worthy of this list, as they each depict Jackson getting on some frisky business. The mood is deep and sexual – we’re talking candles and sweat – perfectly fitting the song. So, following NSFW rules, maybe don’t watch this one any time, any place.
#3: “Senorita” (2002)
Justin Timberlake
A minute or so into this video, you start to lose track of all the gorgeous women Timberlake grinds up on, but that doesn’t really matter, because they’re all stunning, and they all drive home the pure sex appeal of the video. Channeling that Latin salsa gyration that sets butterflies off in your stomach, Timberlake and his women get close to one another… very close. The flowing dresses and flimsy skirts, combined with Justin’s moves, falsetto voice, and steamy, lusting desires, turn the entire bar room scene into a free for all sensual paradise. So while his “What goes Around… Comes Around” video with Scarlett Johansson, is pretty fantastic, his moves in the saloon earned the spot on this list.
#2: “Untitled (How Does it Feel)” 2000
D’Angelo
Take a deep breath ladies, you’re going to need it. This video, consisting entirely of one shot, puts you in a one on one relationship with singer and absolute stud, D’Angelo. Did we mention he’s shirtless? Well he is, and his sweaty set of abs are roasting with hotness. You also see the “V” of his hip line, leaving the rest to your imagination. Staring directly into the camera, D’Angelo passionately sings to his audience, creating an intensely intimate viewing experience. As he’s belting his heart out, D’Angelo gyrates and moves slowly to the song’s rhythm, flexing his muscles and biting his lip; ensuring the viewer will not forget this one-of-kind music video anytime soon.
Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
“When We Make Love” (2005)
Ginuwine
“Hands to Myself” (2015)
Selena Gomez
#1: “Sad Eyes” (2009)
Enrique Iglesias
When most people think of Enrique Iglesias, they typically think “Hero,” and while that video is incredibly hot, believe it or not, it’s not his steamiest. Sad Eyes is a video so sexual, it wasn’t released until 10 years after the song due to its content. It takes a hot minute for sex scenes to comeup, but once they do, boy does the room heat up. Iglesias engages a female phone sex worker in all of his fantasies. We see lots of skin as Iglesias and his partner have sex in a tub, as well as in bed with a stripper pole coming right from… yeah you see it now. So yes, this one took our top spot no problem.
