Top 10 YouTube Toy Unboxing and Surprise Eggs Channels - TopX Ep.21

#10: Toys and Funny Kids Surprise Eggs
youtube.com/toysandfunnykids
- Kicking off our list is Toys and Funny Kids Surprise Eggs. Often a channel hints at what they do with their title, and this is definitely the case here – there will be toys, and oh will there ever be surprise eggs.
- Much like some of the channels we’ll see later on the list, this is a great channel for those of you, or those of you with children who like to binge. Their videos often feature a huge amount of surprise eggs in a single clip, and at least 1 or 2 clips go online every day. That’s a lot of little toys.
- If you’re a fan of one particular type of toy, character or brand of surprise egg, you’ll be happy to know the channel has been kindly divided into playlists – so no need to sift thru the hundreds of videos to find the stuff that interest you – or your kids.
- Lastly, it should be mentioned that there’s 0 voiceover or host for these videos, making them suitable for any and all language groups.
#9: Disney Cars Toy Club DCTC
youtube.com/MaterCarClub
- On the surface, it may seem like this next channel is identical to the last, but our #9 pick, Disney Cars Toy Club, or DCTC for short has some key differences.
- First and foremost, in these videos the hosts talk. One of the stated goals of the channel is to help children develop strong social and language skills, and the clear, enthusiastic presentation from the hosts really sells this idea.
- Actually, pretty much all of the strong points of the channel stem from the hosts. You’ll notice that they clearly examine and demonstrate all of the details and features of everything their opening, which not only makes the videos more engaging to watch but also makes them more informative as well.
- Lastly, the videos are sometimes spruced up with a little fun. Whether it be little jokes from the host or tiny stop motion animated scenes with the toys, a fair amount of effort has been added to make the videos as entertaining as possible
#8: Kids' Toys
youtube.com/TheEducVideos
- Next up is the first channel we’ve ever seen on TopX that’s hosted entirely by kids. At #8 is the fittingly named Kids’ Toys.
- Right off the bat you’ll notice that this channel is hosted by 2 young girls. This obviously provides the bulk of the charm, since the kids open and play with the toys in a much more authentic and organic way than an adult would.
- Having the kids as hosts also should help parents decide if the products in question are good for their kids. Watching a child try to assemble a playset or follow the instructions for a item gives you a pretty good idea of appropriate the toy would be for the youngsters at home.
- One thing that probably goes without saying but should be mentioned anyway, is that this channel is definitely a bit more girl-oriented. Although the girls use a huge variety of toys, even including nerf guns and giant bugs, they also review a heck of a lot of toys that are marketed towards young girls, like dolls, playhouses, and pretty much anything to do with Disney’s Frozen.
#7: EvanTubeHD
youtube.com/EvanTubeHD
- At #7 we have another channel with pint sized hosts. Coming up next is EvanTubeHD, hosted by Evan and Gillian.
- One thing you’ll notice right away is that this channel is very well put together. I’m guessing that Evan and Gillian have a little help in the tech department, because their videos are very professional looking. After a toy is assembled, the videos often include a glamour shot of the item that really let’s you see it in detail. It also helps that Evan and Gillian are great hosts despite their young age, .
- I’m a big fan of Lego and Nerf myself, so I have to admit that I got a fair amount of enjoyment out of some of the reviews on those topics. The hosts usually go into a lot of detail about the features of whatever playset they’re looking at, so that, coupled with expert shooting style of the videos, makes for some surprisingly comprehensive reviews.
#6: Baby Big Mouth
youtube.com/ItsBabyBigMouth
- Lego and Nerf guns are cool, but if you wanna get views, the real money’s in surprise eggs – something this channel does almost exclusively. Our #6 pick is Baby Big Mouth.
- What on the surface is a very simple channel devoted to opening surprise eggs is spiced up with a bit of an educational slant. In a sesame street kind of style, many of the videos try to teach simple words or concepts during the video – something that definitely widens the appeal for parents.
- Another strong point is that Baby Big Mouth’s videos have a pretty dependable format and release schedule. They’re all about 3 to 5 minutes and are released on a daily basis, meaning you can check back every day for new content, but you know you’ll never really be locked down for too long – perfect for families with tight schedules.
#5: Surprise Eggs unboxing toys
youtube.com/UnboxingSurpriseEgg
- Continuing the trend of channels of self-explanatory titles, we have Surprise Eggs unboxing toys, coming in at #5.
- We already mentioned earlier that the real money’s in surprise eggs, so given this channel’s title, it should come as no ‘surprise’ that this channel opens a whole lot of eggs. However, the OTHER thing they really specialize in over here is that lovable, non-toxic goop you all know and love: Play Doh.
- One thing you’ll notice about this channel is that host doesn’t talk at all. This, coupled with the fact they he or she really plays with the Play Doh and builds whatever the set helps you build, makes the videos strangely soothing to watch – much like playing with the Play Doh yourself.
#4: SurpriseToys
youtube.com/SurpriseToys
- Another channel, another enormous amount of surprise eggs. Opening up huge amounts of Surprise Toys is the conspicuously named Surprise Toys at #4.
- All of the channels we’re looking at today do these eggs, but SurpriseToys is one that really emphasizes the tactile feel of the whole thing. The pop of the egg, the crunch of the foil, the careful perusing of the instructions: it all feels very participatory – like you’re the one opening the egg and building the toy.
- I mentioned earlier that Baby Big Mouths videos are consistently short, well these videos are consistently long. Ranging from about 10 minutes to almost an hour, every video features a huge amount of eggs to open, many of which come from Japan or other not so common origins.
#3: DisneyCarToys
youtube.com/DisneyCarToys
- Sure, lots of channels have engaging hosts. But how many channels are co-hosted by Spiderman? I thought so. Our #3 pick is Disney Car Toys.
- Spidey and his co-host Sandra unbox and look at some of the largest variety of toys and eggs that we’ve seen today. On top of that, they also definitely publish the most out of anyone, with 2 or 3 clips a day. That’s a lot of variety, and a lot of content.
- That’s not to say their content is watered down or simple. The duo often perform little skits with the toys in question, making their channel into a sort of children’s show for the digital age.
- Last but not least, the all of this content is nicely organized into playlist, making it easy to navigate despite the enormous volume of clips.
#2: BluCollection ToyCollector
youtube.com/Blucollection
- I hope you’re not sick of surprise eggs cause we got a whole lot more on our next pick, BluCollection Toycollector, AKA BluToys.
- This channel does a lot of things we’ve seen on other channels. On top of the eggs, they review playsets and other toys too. They do a lot of Play Doh related content. They have playlist that helps you browse their huge amount of content, content they publish on a daily basis. It’s a format that really works, and if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
- This is also another channel that’s got multi lingual appeal, in so much that there’s not a lot of talking involved. In fact, many of the videos feature titles that are written in multiple languages – making it easy to search for from viewers worldwide. Everyone likes surprise eggs, or should I say Huevos Sorpresa.

#1: FunToyzCollector
youtube.com/DisneyCollectorBR
- If I were to ask you what the most viewed YouTube channel was this week, what would you think it was? Katy Perry’s Vevo channel? Maybe Late Night with Jimmy Falon? Maybe you know YouTube culture, and you’re putting your money on PewDiePie. What if I were to tell you that all of the high end content, let’s play gamers and multimillion dollar music acts were no match for one lady playing with toys. At #1 on our list, and the #1 most viewed channel in the world for the week of March 15th is FunToyzCollector.
- Again, while on the surface this may seem very similar to other channels we’ve seen, you always know it’s a Toyz video by the unique voice of the host and her colorful nails and accessories – both of which serve as her trademarks.
- I hate to do this to my little bros out there, but this is a channel that’s definitely geared towards feminine toys. The Play Doh for girl’s playlist has whopping 161 videos, whereas the Play Doh for boys has only 6.
