Top 5 Coolest New Features In Pokémon Ultra Sun & Pokémon Ultra Moon

We’ve taken pictures OF Pokémon in the past, but never WITH Pokémon. One of the more creative new features in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon is the brand new Alola Photo Club. In this incredibly cute activity, you can pose the character and take pictures with your very own Pokémon. The shots can then be decorated with a variety of stamps and frames which you earn as you progress further into the game. Your finished product can also be shared to other players online, so the whole world can see how adorable your Pokémon is!

The Original Sun and Moon games introduced us to regional variants known as the Alolan Forms.
Featured on the cover arts of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the Pokémon known as Necrozma has two brand new forms, respectively called Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings. These forms were attained by Necrozma’s absorption of either Solgaleo or Lunala. If you purchase the game before January 10th, you can get a special Rockruff that can evolve into the new Dusk Form Lycanroc, just like Ash Ketchum’s!

Catch some totally tubular waves with the newest Poké Ride, Mantine Surf. In this bodacious new feature, you can surf between islands and discover new areas with the Pokémon Mantine. Performing surfing tricks in competitions can earn you high scores, which can be used to get items and have Move Tutors teach previously unavailable moves to your Pokémon. Cowabunga, dude!

We all know how out of this world the Ultra Beasts in the original Sun and Moon were, and these three are even stranger! Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon includes three extradimensional Pokémon code named UB Burst, UB Assembly and UB Adhesive. What makes this so different from prior Pokémon games is that this is the first time in the series that brand new Pokémon are introduced in a currently existing generation.

Having played a big part but only briefly visited in Sun and Moon, Ultra Space is now further explorable like never before. Using either Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo or Lunala, you will be able to travel across the Ultra Wormhole and access new areas in Ultra Space such as the city of Ultra Megalopolis, a world where Necrozma has stolen all light. You can encounter and battle the Ultra Recon Squad, an organization with unknown intentions that, like the Ultra Beasts, have come from beyond the Ultra Wormhole.
