VOICE OVER: Lisa Yang
J Law certainly knows how to own the spotlight. With her down to earth personality and easy going attitude the spotlight just gravitates towards her. In this countdown we take a look at the Top 5 Jennifer Lawrence Fashion Moments! As we've seen so far, red is definitely her color and Dior is her fashion house of choice.

#5: “27th Annual Producers Guild Awards” (2015)

Typically, Jennifer attends award shows because she’s nominated for one of her blockbuster movies, but in 2015 she acted as a presenter at the Producers Guild Awards, giving an award to the CEO of Lionsgate, the studio that distributed “The Hunger Games.” Even though she wasn’t supposed to be the center of attention, the star stood out in a floor length Grecian style gown. This Prada design featured metallic embellishments and a dramatic neckline. She paired the outfit with a smoky eye and glowing skin, giving the ensemble a serious edge.

#4: “73rd Golden Globe Awards” (2016)

Jennifer Lawrence was no stranger to the Golden Globes when she was nominated in 2016, already having been recognized by the Hollywood Foreign Press multiple times. She picked up her third win in a red Dior dress with sexy side cutouts. The gown was less form fitting than her outfits typically are, and when asked about her choice, she responded that she was on her period and didn’t want to “suck in her uterus.” Never one to take herself too seriously, this bit of background information makes the outfit all the more memorable.

#3: “85th Academy Awards” (2013)

It’s fitting that Lawrence dressed like a princess for the 2013 Academy Awards because it was her night to shine. The actress brought home her first Oscar that night for her performance in “Silver Linings Playbook.” She was the belle of the ball even after falling on the steps while on her way to accept the award. Her dramatic gown was designed by Dior Couture and according to Lawrence, she didn’t spend time attending fittings weeks in advance. She tried on the dress on the morning of the event and was just thrilled that it fit.

#2: “86th Academy Awards” (2014)

In 2014, J. Law was nominated for another Oscar for her role in “American Hustle” and went for a wholly different look than the previous year. She did however, give a repeat performance of her epic 2013 fall when she tripped over a traffic cone and fell on the red carpet. She wore Dior again, cementing her devotion to the design house in a bright red strapless peplum dress. Her short, slicked-back hair gave the look a much more mature vibe than her girlish princess look from her last Academy Awards, letting people know that she was all grown up.

#1: “83rd Academy Awards” (2011)

Back in 2011, before Jennifer Lawrence was the household name that she is today, she was a Hollywood newcomer nominated for her performance in “Winter’s Bone.” Her body skimming Calvin Klein Collection dress matched the red carpet and began a long running theme of the actress choosing dresses in the rosy hue. The dress was minimalist yet elegant, giving off an all-American vibe that perfectly matches Lawrence’s laissez-faire attitude. This look catapulted her into the spotlight as one of Hollywood’s fashion darlings and stood out for its classic lines and simplicity.
