After a successful launch of her House of Harlow 1960 collection, TV star turned designer Nicole Richie is launching her ready- to–wear line, Winter Kate.
Winter Kate- the middle names of her daughter Harlow-stays true to Richie’s bohemian chic style that she herself often wears.
The new line is inspired by fun prints of paisley, beautiful florals and timeless cuts in dresses, both long and short, tunics and kimono tops found in vintage silk and chiffon.
The spring/summer collection reflects Richie’s love for vintage-inspired, flowing clothes that are easy to wear, simple, yet romantic and edgy.
The philosophy behind each design is a modern ease that allows each piece to be mixed and matched, layered and perfect for all occasions.
Besides showing off her latest piece of jewelry, an engagement ring from long-time boyfriend Joel Madden, Richie unveiled her House of Harlow 1960 jewelry line that features chic retro designs consisting of bangles, long necklaces and, of course, oversized sunglasses.
Spring 2010 will also see the launch of House of Harlow 1960’s premiere shoe collection that features a wide-range of designs from playful moccasins to sexy heels that show-off a great attention to detail and beautiful embellishments of peacock feathers, bright beads and laser-finished cuts. Richie’s bohemian-chic collection will be made available at big name stores such as Bloomingdales, Saks 5th avenue and Holts Renfrew.
