New Attack On Titan Video Game Set For 2018

Who’s Ready To Slay Some Titans?

With its second season concluding earlier this year, Attack on Titan once again cemented its place as a modern anime hit that carved its way into the mainstream, earning legions of fans and inspiring many video game adaptations in the process.

Of course, given the climactic events that occurred in said season, any future games will have to be equally as brutal and visually thrilling. And by that of course we mean that amazing showdown between Eren and the Armoured Titan!

Well, from the sounds of it we won’t be waiting long before we get to experience the Titan Shifter slugfest for ourselves.

According to an article on Crunchyroll

In addition to the upcoming Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates on Nintendo 3DS, a full-on action game sequel is on the way with more content from the anime’s second season. While Attack on Titan 2 didn’t initially have a list of platforms, Koei Tecmo revealed further plans at Tokyo Game Show, lining it up for PlayStation 4, which served as the base platform, as well as PS Vita, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The follow-up will include a bunch of new features such as expanded Titan movements, an increase in playable characters, more 3D Maneuver Gear actions, and other additions that have yet to be divulged.

Attack on Titan 2 is currently slated for an early 2018 launch in Japan.

Hey, as long as we get our Rogue/Armoured Titan heavyweight title match, along with plenty of Levi, we’ll be more than satisfied! Maybe it will also give us the option to sink our blades into the Beast Titan as well. Let’s be honest, if anyone deserves to have their neck sliced apart it’s that guy!

In the meantime, be sure to check out the official screenshots for Attack on Titan 2 below!
