I’ll Have a Grande Latte With A Sprinkle of Savage Please
She just dropped a new album and we just dropped our jaws. Ariana Grande has been in the public eye for months now, having been through a dramatic and difficult year, through which her music career managed to thrive and her candidly unapologetic personality was established. Over on MsMojo, we looked at 10 of the most impressive and badass moments from this pop starâs career, including fact checking headlines, telling off Ryan Seacrest, calling a radio host a jerk and calling out sexist interviewers. But, let’s be real, there are more Ariana Grande moments that deserve a mention, so here are 5 more savage moments!

#Arichella
Not only did she surprise fans and steal the show when she showed up during Kygo’s set at Coachella in 2018 to perform “No Tears Left To Cry”, but she managed to steal the entire festival, with fans immediately calling it #ARICHELLA all over Twitter. This year, Grande is set to headline Coachella on April 14th and 21st, which means that the hashtag is alive and well.
me trying to grasp onto the fact that ariana is headlining coachella only 5 years into her career and also becoming the fourth female artist in history to do so… #ARICHELLA pic.twitter.com/IqMnsjDEnR

Lyrics and Videos From “Thank U, Next”
Having been dropped following a heavy and highly publicized year for Grande, “Thank U, Next” features a number of references and statements that begged for a spot on this list. For instance, her single “7 Rings” is basically an anthem for flaunting her wealth and spoiling her friends, with lyrics like “my receipts, be lookin’ like phone numbers,” “Whoever said money can’t solve your problems must not have had enough money to solve ’em”. Her video for “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored” heightens the savagery with a twist ending that prompted some quality Twitter tea. But hey, we’re here for it and clearly so is she, ending a verse in “7 Rings” with “Who woulda thought it’d turn me to a savage?”

Insisting on her “Side”
Celebrities (or their teams at least) tend to have preferences when they are photographed, whether it be specific lighting or a side of their face and according to multiple sources and image compilations, Ariana Grande is a fan of her left side. Not only have their been reports of this preference causing her to walking out of a photoshoot, but Giuliana Rancic of E! News even stated that Grande’s team had them switch sides on the American Music Awards red carpet. Grande has denied the former and her right side makes a few appearances on her Instagram, but it does seem like her dimple takes precedence and the bottom line is: she clearly knows her angles.
Being Carried
When reports came out in 2014 that Ariana Grande frequently demanded to be carried by members of her team when she didn’t feel like walking, the singer was quick to clapback on the rumors and make it clear that she’s a human being, not a diva. She even updated the caption on her Instagram photo below, in case anyone had any questions. Looks like that rumour was put to rest pretty quickly. Thank u, next!
Her Sistine Chapel Met Gala Look
Savage may not have been the first word that came to mind when Ariana Grande stepped onto the Met Gala carpet in 2018, but impressive and badass definitely were. With the theme of “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”, Grande came through in a Vera Wang gown printed with images of Michelangelo’s seminal work, “The Last Judgment”, which appears inside the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City. Yep, she basically brought the Sistine Chapel to New York City, managing to honour the theme while somehow maintaining her baby doll aesthetic.
