You know the Phelps twins, James and Oliver, as Fred and George Weasley from the Harry Potter film series, but how well do you REALLY know them? We met up with the Phelps Twins at Montreal Comiccon and set things straight by having them fact check the internet!
Are the internet rumours of our beloved Harry Potter characters true? Do the Harry Potter Twins really support rival quidditch- *ah-hem* we mean football clubs? What is the Leaky Cauldronâs secret recipe for its butterbeer? Did they skip school to audition for Harry Potter? Lets play a game of true or false to find out.
Fact Checking Legends: The Phelps Twins
1. Do the Phelps twins support rival football clubs?
True: Jame Phelps supports Birmingham City and Oliver Phelps supports the newest team to join the premier league Aston Villa FC.
2. Does the Harry Potter cast host reunions where the actors meet up to play golf?
True: âOccasionally… Normally the same guys because not that many people play golf in the cast.â explains Oliver Phelps
âWho is the best golfer?â Inquires Phoebe.
âMEâ the twins exclaim at the same time!
3. Did the twins skip school to audition for the first Harry Potter film?
âTrue-ishâ says James.
âTrue, but my mom and dad did let the school know beforehand that we were going!â explains Oliver.
4. Was the butter beer on the set of Harry Potter actually orange juice and whipped cream??
True: âyou definitely would not want to swirl it around in your mouth at the same timeâ says Oliver.
âDefinitely not what was served at the Harry Potter visiting worldâ laughed James.
5. Do the Phelps twins love traveling?
True! Oliverâs favorite destination so far was at a resort in Fiji, while Jamesâ favorite trip was to Red Deer which he came across during a road trip from Calgary to Edmonton. âIâm going to go for Red Deer because they had amazing donuts!â exclaims James.
