There’s also plenty of technical capabilities to shout about too, with three cooling speeds, an energy-saving mode, a remote control and a 24-hour timer.
The Clever One: Frigidaire FGRC084WA1 Window AC
If you specifically want a bedroom AC, then Frigidaire has this brilliant $350 model. This 8,000 BTU model is good for rooms of up to 350 square feet. The main reason it’s great for bedrooms is because it looks slick, it’s extremely quiet and it can be controlled via a smartphone app. So, no need to get out of bed and tweak the settings in the middle of the night!
