Joining the hit show “Poldark” in its third season, Elise Chappell has already made quite the impression amongst fans of period drama. But maybe it’s time for her to break away from the Cornwall setting and try her hand at something a bit more Hollywood. Although she’s yet to make the jump to feature films, 2019 could see that change, as a new Danny Boyle movie could be on the horizon for her, which would see her rubbing elbows with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Lily James and Kate McKinnon.

A face you likely recognise, but a name you probably don’t, Callum Turner has totted up a fair few notable roles, with parts in “The Only Living Boy in New York”, “Green Room” and “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald”. Although he’s already started making waves, he’s yet to bag a significant lead that exploits his abundance of charm and badassery. Let’s hope his appearance in the Harry Potter franchise can work its magic and land him a spellbinding part that will put him on the map.

Due to her varied back catalogue, it’s not a question of if she will make the jump to A-lister status, it’s just a case of when, and which avenue she will go down - tv, film, maybe even both.

He’s also proven himself on the stage, being another recipient of the coveted Olivier Award, and he’s has become a regular face on TV screens, nabbing parts in “The White Queen” and “Cilla”. A supporting role in 2019’s “The Goldfinch”, alongside Ansel Elgort, is sure to be an attractive entry on his CV, which should hopefully catch the eye of casting directors.

Finishing second in the 2008 talent show “I’d Do Anything”, for an opportunity to play Nancy in a West End performance of “Oliver”, Jessie Buckley has been working in film, TV, and theatre for a decade - albeit as a relative unknown. Appearing in the popular series “Taboo” and receiving plaudits for her performance in 2017’s “Beast”, Buckley has set her sights on leading lady status, and she’s already well on her way to achieving it. And a part alongside Renee Zellweger in the Judy Garland biopic will surely help her along the way.

Millions of us have tuned in to watch the gripping drama of “Victoria”, and fans of the show will no doubt recognise the face of Tom Hughes’ Prince Albert. Aside to his history with royalty, Hughes also impressed with a leading part in spy drama “The Game” and starred alongside Harvey Keitel and Toni Collette in French comedy Madame. Cast as famed poet Robert Graves in “The Laureate”, Hughes has got a knack for high-society parts, and it’s surely only a matter of time until it pays off.

Florence Pugh came onto people’s radars in 2014 thanks to her performance in “The Falling”. She has since received tons of acclaim for her portrayal of Katherine in “Lady Macbeth”, which won her a British Independent Film Award, and the star-studded Netflix series, “Outlaw King”. And speaking of star-studded, Pugh also stars alongside a stellar cast in Greta Gerwig’s “Little Women” remake, of which includes Emma Watson and Meryl Streep.
