Written by Richard Bush

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Welcome to WatchMojo UK and today we're counting down the Top 10 IT Crowd Moments!

For this list, we're focussing on the funniest moments from the famed Channel 4 sitcom; from the basement-based shenanigans of Roy - to the top floor antics of the genius business mogul, Douglas.

Special thanks to our users Kian Popat, maciolek1s, mac121mr0, Erik Zarins, Garv, Ulises A. Herrera and Ferdinand Márquez Riaño for submitting the idea on our interactive suggestion tool: WatchMojo.comsuggest

#10: Moss and the Cannibal

Ever misread an ad in the paper? Ever almost been eaten because of it. Having innocently misread an ad for a cooking class, Moss turns up at a stranger’s house full of enthusiasm. Of course, he doesn't realise that his supposed cookery teacher is in fact a cannibal - who recently put out an ad looking for someone to be his meal, not help him make it. Hilarity ensues.

#9: The Dragon’s Den Pitch

The Den can be an intimidating place at the best of times - and particularly when you’ve got a product that doesn't work. Nervous as anything - Jen, Roy and Moss step up to pitch their new revolutionary lingerie item. But it all goes pear shaped. Jen can’t speak, Roy just stands there and when Moss tries to take control and showcase their gadget, it bursts into flames. And that’s why, I’m out!

#8: The Piracy Ad

We all remember those piracy adverts, right? Well, this one takes the proverbial biscuit. Settling down for a movie night, Roy and Moss are confronted with a rather graphic awareness video. It starts off fair game - “don’t steal a car” for example. But then it all gets a little...weird. Don’t steal folks. They will find you.

#7: The Red Door

Pandora’s box ain’t got nothing on this. Familiarizing herself with the office layout, Jen spots a red door behind Roy and innocently asks what’s behind it. What follows is a mysterious, overly evasive explanation which does absolutely nothing to satisfy Jen's curiosity. We later find out that a goth called Richmond lives in there, but it’s the initial interrogation scene that gets our vote.

#6: Douglas Arrives

A funeral isn't really the place to make an entrance, but that doesn't stop Douglas Reynholm gatecrashing his father's service. Dramatically bursting through the church doors, Douglas wrestles with the priest, gives us a few verses on the complicated history between him and his dad - and then almost reveals the whole scam behind the pension plan. Oh, and he’s already got eyes on Jen.

#5: This is the Internet

What is the cloud? Where does all that information go? Well, according to Moss, inside a little black box with a blinky light. Pranking Jen, Moss and Roy convince her that they have procured the internet to present in her speech with company shareholders. Of course, she falls for it - but the jokes on them - because the gloriously gullible shareholders are impressed. Until the internet gets squashed.

#4: The Disabled Toilet

Showing a blatant disregard for social expectations is something which just comes naturally to Roy. But it all goes wrong, here. Confident that he won’t get caught using a disabled toilet, he accidentally pulls the emergency cord, which sends staff running to help him. Thinking on his feet, Roy hits the deck. When asked “what happened”, he replies… And it doesn't stop there. He keeps digging and digging.

#3: Fire!

What should you do in the event of a fire? Don’t call Moss. Suddenly realising that the office is in flames, Moss tries everything to resolve the situation. Fire extinguisher? That doesn't work. Calling the new emergency number he’s learned? Again, non-starter. Instead, Moss does the most logical thing he can think of - he emails the fire brigade. Phwoo. That was close.

#2: Did You See That Ludicrous Display...

Some of us just aren't cut out for footy banter, and it’s another world for Roy and Moss. However, convinced they can fit in and make new friends at a bar, they learn some textbook football buzzwords and attempt to riff with some fans. Roy kicks off the proceedings, and amazingly it works. Then Moss chips in, and also gets some joy. But, as you’d expect, it quickly gets out of hand.

#1: Street Countdown

After a successful stint on everyone's favourite words and numbers quiz, Moss becomes a minor celebrity - at least in certain circles. But when you’re top of your game, there’s always someone who wants to knock you down - enter “Street Countdown”. Challenged to a battle of vowels and consonants, Moss squares up and effortlessly squashes his opponent. He even gets a joke in for good measure - which according to our judges, makes sense.
