We know more about the surface of the moon than the ocean floor, even though it covers three-quarters of the earth. At depths of over two miles, thermal vents are inaccessible to all but a tiny elite of the world's submersible craft. Follow a unique expedition to the bottom of the ocean to explore the vent fields in the mid-Atlantic ridge - previously unexplored by any human.
