Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark II

The Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark II was a strong contender for our number one spot as it's pretty similar spec wise to the Sony, but is lacking a few practical settings and features (and consequently has the price to match this fact). It's a small amazing camera for what it does and has the great popping colour that Canon cameras are known for. It features a great low aperture for some good depth of field and a 3" tilting screen for tricky angles and hard to get shots.
