This was the first time we got a dark verison of a superhero. If it wasnt for this movie we would still have the 60's live action batman and the 70's superman.
When it comes to visuals and comic book adaptions Zack Snyder does a brilliant job like this one and Man of Steel. Tho comic book has too much to offer, and can't be adapted to a 3hr movie but still it was well adapted.
