In the original, it's revealed that his parents were Lienz Cossacks, an ethnic minority group in Ukraine & Russia who were executed by the Soviet Regime after the British denied them asylum and turn then over to Stalin. But in the remake ... he's basically a radicalized version of an Occupy Wall Street protestor.

Duran fights a ghost of his dad in a public tournament, Angela fights a clone of herself, Hawkeye, Charlotte & Rieze all fight giant versions of common monsters. The only one that is awesome is Kevins.
