Brace yourself, because this Portuguese-language ballad may not be that sensible as you think. If there were an English version of the song, it would basically have to do with a sad break up, which sucks. Apparently, the Brazilian duo has gone on to produce more uplifting tunes that you didn't know were mega popular in South America.

There weren't that many Arabic ballads we could think when we made this list, but this appears to be the only one we could find. This was also found in his a "Nour El Ain", which literally translates to "Light of the Eye", which is as deep as you'd expect from the Egyptian pop superstar. Not to mention that this is one of Diab's signature songs.

This Albanian ballad has touched millions of hearts in and near the capital Tirana. Clocking at 5 minutes and 45 seconds, this is basically one of Gjoka's signature songs, and he appears to include it in all of his concerts. If you are a Mojoholic in or near Tirana, then you are likely to hear this song whenever you're having a hard time.

This is something that millions of ballad lover would slightly expect. Often considered as one of Pavlos' signature songs, this sad-sound tune has received a heck-of-a-lotta attention throughout Greece and Cyprus by the time it was released, even after his death in 1990. Rest in peace, Pavlos.
