I first saw this on Nostalgia Critic. It was a PSA that started out with a baby shower, the mother to be get's a whistle wondering what it's for. Then we hear the line from her mother. "It's a rape whistle." Now that alone is a massive WTF, but what gives it extra points on the WTF scale, is they are still vague on why she would get that gift. W

The creepy cheerful sun is messed up enough as it is. However what makes it WTF is context behind it. The entire commercial gives viewers the impression, that Sprite is more safer to drink than healthy juice simply because it doesn't have a creepy sun that scares children.

The commercial starts off in a typical day in Smurf Village. When all of the sudden, the village gets bombed killing all but Baby Smurf. Then out of no where the ad tells you how you can help with Unicef. I get where they were going for this, by making the Smurfs be an analogy of one of the countries, you could be helping but it's still Bombing
