Hugh Michael Jackman was born on October 12th, 1968 in Sydney, Australia. There, he got his first taste for acting when he starred in a high school production of “My Fair Lady.” Soon after, Jackman pursued further acting studies and was offered a regular part on the short-lived Australian drama series, “Corelli.” Following this he appeared in a number of Australian musicals, television shows and films.
