Adopting the alias “Flint Marko”, William Baker became involved in crime when he decided to help his friend gather the cash needed to pay off his gambling debts. Escaping jail, he ended up hiding from the authorities within a nuclear test site. Caught in a blast, he miraculously survived, while his body bonded with the sand around him.
