David Jude Heyworth Law was born on December 29th, 1972 in South East London. Once a stage performer that traveled across London and to Broadway, he soon transitioned to film work. He then gained wider appeal in the late 90s when he appeared in the science fiction films Gattaca and David Cronenberg's eXistenZ. But he finally made the Hollywood A-list after taking on such projects as The Talented Mr. Ripley and Steven Spielberg's A.I Artificial Intelligence, though audiences now best know the charming actor as Dr. Watson in Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes films.
