VOICE OVER: Christine Rodriguez
Alzheimer's disease and related dementia are terrible illnesses, from which there is no recovery. It is predicted that by 2050, 1 in 85 people worldwide will suffer from Alzheimer's. This disease robs its victims of their memories and personalities, and also deeply affects those around them. The play 'Swan Song of Maria' follows a sufferer through the stages of the disease, as she tries to recapture the love she had with her husband before it is forever lost. In this video, http://www.WatchMojo.com visits the Black Theatre Workshop to learn more about this play, and about the effects of Alzheimer's disease. For more information, click Here
