#10: Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10 “RoboCop” (2014)
A cop on a motorcycle can be an intimidating thing. RoboCop on a bike? Bad guys better run. And fast. In the remake of the 1987 classic, the titular cyborg dons a sleeker, more intimidating cybernetic body suit with cooler gadgets and an awesome Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10 motorcycle. Criminals are hunted down by this hulking behemoth on his glossy, black bike, custom made to dispense justice. Faster and more dangerous than a cop car, Robocop’s motorcycle is the perfect tool to aid in busting villains.
#9: Lawmaster “Dredd” (2012)
Roaring in next on our list is another law enforcing motorcycle, driven by Judge Dredd himself: the Lawmaster. Equipped with machine guns, Dredd handles this beast while protecting Mega-City One from baddies and criminals. As our hero hunts down a group of junkies fleeing in a van, the film offers an exhilarating car chase, showcasing the bike’s awesome speed and control as well as its firepower. No backup is needed when riding the Lawmaster.

In this film adaptation of a Korean comic series, man is pitted against vampire when a legendary Warrior Priest seeks to find his niece who’s been abducted by a pack of the supernatural beings. Among his repertoire of weapons is a custom-built vampire-hunting jet bike. Like a jet engine in power and looks, these lightning-fast cycles are used by the Priest and his fellow mates as they ride across deserts and enemy terrain, battling creatures while trying to accomplish their duty.
#7: 1920 Indian Scout ‘Burt Munro Special’ “The World’s Fastest Indian” (2005)
Setting speed records was Burt Munro’s specialty, as the racer from New Zealand shared his passion for motorcycles with the world. In the biographical flick “The World’s Fastest Indian,” we follow him as he enters a competition in the U.S. in the hopes of setting a new land speed record. His bike of choice? A 1920 Indian Scout, modified by Munro himself to achieve greater speeds. With its aerodynamic design, it doesn’t even look like a motorcycle at first glance. But beneath that red exterior shell, there’s a beastly bike ready to break records.

“The Great Escape” follows Allied POWs as they plan to escape a German camp during World War II. In one of the most iconic motorcycle scenes in movie history, Steve McQueen, playing one of those POWs, flees his German pursuers by jumping over a barbed wire fence before getting entangled in another line of barbed wire. The motorcycle in question is a 1961 Triumph TR6, modified to look like a German-made BMW, painted “The Great Escape” Wehrmacht gray. Regardless of its allegiances, the motorcycle is a beauty and a beast.

The Fat Boy is so much more than your typical Harley-Davidson in the hands of the Terminator, making it look ridiculously intimidating. Arnold’s Fat Boy is the star of a classic chase scene also involving John Connor’s dirt bike and the T-1000’s big-rig tow truck.

This hellish, demon-created bike moves at incredible speeds across all terrains, including up vertical surfaces and even over water, unaffected by the laws of physics as it leaves a path of flames behind it. Following the commands of the Ghost Rider, the Hell Cycle is the perfect weapon to battle demons and fallen angels.
#3: Light Cycle “Tron: Legacy” (2010)
Ending up in a virtual world inside a computer your father designed has its perks, like getting to ride one of the coolest, sleekest bikes out there. In the sequel to “Tron,” Sam Flynn ends up in a cyber-universe filled with lethal programs and gladiator-style games while searching for his father who’s been stuck inside for 20 years. This leads him to compete in the Gaming Grid in the Light Cycle Arena. With two massive wheels and a futuristic, neon design, the Light Cycle lets man and motorcycle become one as the rider leans heavily into the bike, controlling the cycle by tilting his body.
#2: Batpod “The Dark Knight” (2008)
How does a mastermind director like Christopher Nolan top the awesomeness that was the Tumbler? Break it down into the Batpod. This massive-wheeled vehicle detaches itself from the wrecked Tumbler. With unique handling characteristics, Batman drives the bike effortlessly as he drifts through the streets of Gotham looking for the Joker. The recreation of the Batcycle gives us one of the most breath-taking shots in the whole movie, using cable wires to flip over a massive truck. With its vast array of weapons, the Batpod is the kind of ride fit for the Dark Knight to help keep the city clean. In “Easy Rider”, acting legends Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper star as two bikers making their way to New Orleans to celebrate Mardi Gras, encountering many interesting characters along the way. The stars of the show, however, are the bikes: Harley-Davidson Hydra-Glides that accompany the duo on their trek. Fonda rides his red, white and blue “Captain America,” while Hopper glides on his flame-adorned “Billy Bike”.
