They may've been funny but they were still pulled from the small screen. Join http://www.WatchMojo.com as we count down our picks for the top 10 funny banned commercials. For this list, we're looking at commercials that the censors banned from television, regardless of region, and that have a humorous spin to them. It's also okay if they aired a few times, as long as they were eventually pulled from the air.

They may’ve been funny but they were still pulled from the small screen. Welcome to WatchMojo.com, and today we’re counting down our picks for the top 10 funny banned commercials. For this list, we’re looking at commercials that the censors banned from television, regardless of region, and that have a humorous spin to them. It’s also okay if they aired a few times, as long as they were eventually pulled from the air.

#10: “The Most Successful Clothing Drive Ever” Bud Light

Another Top 10 Funniest Banned Commercials

There are few things in the world that will motivate people more than free beer - and Bud Light knows it. That’s why this commercial takes a somewhat believable idea to its most ludicrous extreme: people will walk around completely nude if they can get a free bottle of Bud Light for each item of clothing they donate. And what really gets the laughs in is the disgust openly shown by many of the co-workers at the newly exposed bodies all around them. Nudity and beer: why was this ad banned again?

#9: “Shark Tank Crack” Yellow Pages

In this day and age, The Yellow Pages need to get creative to stay relevant. The team behind the creation of this ad pulled that off completely, except maybe a little too well. When a custodian begins to dance with his mop, one careless move at an inopportune moment makes everything go wrong. Luckily, the Yellow Pages are there to save the day - or are they?! The commercial ends with the man possibly about to be fish food, instead of getting the help he needs from the directory - which we’re guessing is what got it yanked.

#8: “Feeling is Everything” Durex

In this condom commercial, a man, played by actor Dominic Cooper, is getting ready to go on a date when a legion of white-suited men threatens to overwhelm the woman he is set to meet. Luckily, a see- through plastic barrier holds them back, allowing the couple’s night to continue without danger. Though nothing overtly sexual takes place during this short forty-second spot, the meaning of the visuals were clear and the UK censors were not amused, even if we are!

#7: “Bear Hugs” Bunker Footwear

There are several reasons why this ad for shoes could upset those who are easily offended. A couple of bears are shown having sex on TV, the man watching them appears to be masturbating, a woman’s butt is shown in tight panties and, the icing on the cake, is the language she employs when she walks in. It’s all an innocent misunderstanding, but by the time that’s actually revealed, several people were already complaining. As a result, this commercial from Satis-Fashion can only be seen online now.

#6: “Wrong Mouthful” 1hr Optiker

Everyone knows how important sight is, yet sometimes people choose to go without good vision for fashion’s sake. This commercial for glasses finds a new angle on the discussion and demonstrates why neglecting your vision is a bad idea. When a couple decides to get physical in a car, the woman’s poor eyesight leads to her missing her mark. This ad never stood a chance to make it to air, but is absolutely hilarious nonetheless.

#5: “Skinny Dippers” Bud Light

In this beer commercial, a young couple finds what they think is the perfect moment to go for a swim together. It doesn’t matter that they don’t have their bathing suits. However, their good time is quickly ruined: what they didn’t realize is the pool they chose to take their dip in is not as private as they thought. Even if their naughty bits aren’t revealed, censors and watchdog groups had issues, so this Super Bowl ad didn’t get to sell many beers.

#4: “Tidy Up” Ikea

Let’s face it: people can be absolute slobs and everyone knows it. These Ikea commercials play on that fact with comedy gold by showing how we are affected by the messes we sometimes live in. First, there’s the death-by-makeout, then there’s eating spaghetti off the floor. But maybe the moment that ultimately sealed the deal for this series of ads was when a young boy was shown playing with what we can only assume is his mother’s favorite toy.

#3: “Ricocheting Baseball” Rolling Rock

There are few things that are more universally true than how hilarious it is to see a man get hit in the crown jewels. Even the men among us who know full well just how painful that experience is will still laugh uncontrollably when they witness it happening to another man. That’s why this beer commercial with an out-of-control baseball seeking out the balls of every man around is endlessly funny. Rumor has it that the Rolling Rock ad was only actually banned for the phallic imagery surrounding the logo at the end. So close!

#2: “My Mom Said I Could!” Hansaplast

Top 10 Controversial Commercials That Didn’t Get Banned

A young boy is shown putting himself in danger everywhere he goes. And, his recurring line when faced with these outlandish situations – as well as the occasional bout of anger he’s met with – explains that his mother said he could do it. When it’s eventually revealed that his mother has indeed said “yes” every time he asks her a question, we quickly realize she’s not actually talking to him. Instead, she’s screaming out “Yes, yes, yes” in pleasure behind closed doors – and then it becomes incredibly obvious why this ad was pulled. Before our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions. “Strip Poker” Centrum “Finger Guns” Xbox 360 “Murder” Toyota RAV4 “Blind Date” Smart Beep “In the Hole” kgb (2010)

#1: “Condom Advice” Zazoo Condoms

We’ve all been out in public and had to endure the insistent screaming of a child who is out of control. They drive us crazy, and let’s not forget how the most-likely mortified parents feel. This condom company saw that phenomenon as an opportunity. Use our condoms and it won’t be your kids embarrassing you – instead, you’ll get to just walk away from these noise machines, glad that you practiced safe sex. Do you agree with our list?
