Top 10 Forgotten Video Game Glitches With all the potential for error in game programming, it's shocking what can get into the final product. Welcome to WatchMojo.com and today we're counting down our picks for the Top 10 Forgotten Video Game Glitches. For this list, we're looking at some of the older and overlooked bugs in major video games, that still blow us away today. We're basing our picks on a mix of game-breaking powers, bizarre character effects and the parts of games we weren't meant to see.

#10: Landsharks

"Crysis" (2007) The sharks in 'Crysis' could easily kill players that went too far into the water, but one glitch saw them take their hunting inland. The finned enemies move just as fast out of the water, which turned the game into a fight against nature. Though they aren't too difficult to kill, the landshark's attack range could easily overpower players who don't see them coming. Some sharks would even end up in trees and other parts of the landscape they were never meant to interact with. While it could turn some sessions of 'Crysis' into a cartoon, landsharks made any beach section a risk.

#9: Killing The Yellow Devil Instantly

"Mega Man" (1987) The Yellow Devil is one of the most notoriously difficult enemies in 'Mega Man,' but his true weakness was actually a button. Pausing the game with the Select button resets enemies' invincibility timer, allowing attacks to damage them multiple times. Elec Man's thunder beam moves slowly with a wide damage area, allowing players to kill the Devil in one hit with the trick. The exploit also works on other bosses and with any power-up. The glitch even resurfaced in ports like 'Mega Man Legacy Collection.' Just make sure you survive the Yellow Devil's attacks long enough to actually hit him.

#8: Infinite Ammo

"Halo: Combat Evolved" (2001) Without even using a cheat code, you could get unlimited ammo in the original 'Halo' through some tricky reloading. Completely emptying a clip and then switching with a weapon on the ground would reset the ammunition. As long as you can swap your gun before the reload animation starts, you can do this every time your clip runs out. Though this doesn't work with the battery-based plasma weapons, unlimited rockets or shotgun shells can make the game a breeze. Achieving the timing varies from weapon to weapon, but it's well worth the effort to improve your 'Halo' experience.

#7: Still Naked

"Heavy Rain" (2010) 'Heavy Rain' gained a lot of positive attention for its immersive storytelling, and some controversial press over the game's nudity. This only increased after Kotaku reported a glitch that allowed players to control Madison while she was completely nude. User Kuroner claims after a love scene in the 'On The Loose' sequence, reloading his save would spawn Madison naked. This is allegedly caused by an error which uses her shower render for gameplay, instead of her clothed character model. Though no one has been able to replicate his glitch, Kuroner was privy to an R-rated take on the game.

#6: Horror Mannequins

"Mafia II" (2010) With all the little details in 'Mafia II,' it's baffling how horribly designers mess up your mother. In the MacBook edition of the game, a cut-scene seemingly replaces your mom's skin with leather. Instead of a touching moment between family, the whole interaction is creepy and borderline comedic. The lack of definition also makes her look like a mannequin rather than a person. The game also flashes your mother's face back for milliseconds at a time, which only makes the scene more terrifying. Though 'Mafia II' has several glitches, only your mom makes you question the game's genre.

#5: Air Swimming

"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" (2011) The massive world of 'Skyrim' was bound to have a couple flaws, though it's unlikely Bethesda expected characters to fly. Non-player characters can randomly appear to swim while on land, performing a breaststroke while floating. Despite their hilarious movement, the characters will talk and interact with you as if nothing is wrong. You can even force this on people by casting and removing ice form while someone is swimming. The problem is so prevalent, that many players have reported it happening to them as well. The unpredictable nature of this glitch, however, can turn any play-through of 'Skyrim' into comedic gold.

#4: Play Master Hand

"Super Smash Bros. Melee" (2001) Though Master Hand pulls the strings in the 'Smash Bros.' series, you can actually take control of it in 'Melee.' By plugging a controller into the third slot, a glitch in the naming system forces Master Hand to spawn. The player puts their cursor on the name field, holds down A and B together, and then has to time another A press. You can use all of Hand's moves with the d-pad rather than the analog stick, so long as you're playing on the third controller slot. While Master Hand is invincible outside of stamina mode, it will probably freeze your game first.

#3: Boat Glitch

"Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" (2013) Once you unlock a ship known as the Jackdaw, 'Assassin's Creed IV' occasionally turns into a ghost story. Though it usually appears at the docks, the boat can spawn under the map with a pit of water above it. This causes your crew to float above nothing, while they're caught screaming in an endless fall animation. As the Jackdaw starts returning to sea level, all the pirates above it start to fly away as if they're being pushed. After it surfaces, the crew magically appear back on deck without any mention of the freakish death they almost faced.

#2: Duplication

"Diablo" (1996) Duplication or duping as it became known, allowed players to replace a useless item with whatever they wanted. Drop and pick up an item, then click something in your belt as it's happening. This will create a duplicate of the original dropped item, which you can copy again. This not only caused major issues for Diablo's economy but also ruined any sense of difficulty since powerful items became commonplace. With all the issues duping caused Blizzard, they've made it almost impossible in 'Diablo' sequels.

#1: Hundreds Of Himbos

"SimCopter" (1996) After allegedly dealing with unbearable hours, Maxis employee Jacques Servin decided to add dozens of men in Speedos to 'SimCopter.' Servin claims repeated requests for more female 'Bimbos' in the game inspired him to insert some male counterparts. While Jacques originally set the men to only appear on certain dates, a glitch spawned them after missions in insane numbers as well. The men would kiss and moan loudly when interacting, and were even given glowing nipples so you couldn't miss them. Though Servin was allegedly paid to add the 'Himbos' as a prank, the fact that it became random only made it funnier.
