A total waste of snakes. Welcome to WatchMojo, today we're looking at the best callbacks, easter eggs and hidden secrets in Rick and Morty Season 4 Episode 3, One Crew Over the Crewcoo's Morty!

Season 4 of Rick and Morty keeps rolling out the hits. Welcome to WatchMojo and today we're breaking down the three best easter-eggs we say in this season's third episode "One Crew Over The Crewcoo’s Morty."

One quick note, not an entry; Morty, while under the influence of Heistotron, randomly subscribes to a podcast called "History of New York" before throwing out his phone. We couldn't figure out if this podcast had any significance or if it really is just random. What do you think? If you know what this is about please let us know in the comments!

#3: Morty's Heist Script is Awful

During one of this episode's many, MANY heist montages, we see get a glimpse of Morty's heist movie script. Turns out Morty is as bad at scriptwriting as Jerry was at writing ad campaigns. The first few minutes of Morty's movie shows his characters, Hector, Rodrigo and Arnarldo putting together a plan to steal a crystal from a museum by faking their own deaths and smuggling themselves in as corpses made of cake. Sorry if that doesn't make sense but neither does Morty's script, which is also overly expletive and redundant dialogue. Good enough for Netflix though!

#2: Big Pluto

One of this episodes many twists was the reveal that Heistotron heisted the Earth itself and put it on a shelf alongside other planets, including Mars and something called "Big Pluto." Fans of the show will remember the season one episode "Something Ricked This Way Comes"; where it's well established that Pluto is not a planet. So, to round out his Sol collection, Randotron has stolen a planet called "Big Pluto" instead of the real one. Where did big Pluto come from?

#1: Hall H

In this episode, the art-of-theft convention Heistcon has a lot in common with the real life convention San Diego Comic Con. The most nuanced one is that the convention centre hosting Heistcon also has its own Hall H. If you've ever been to San Diego Comic Con, you'll know that Hall H is basically a mecca for comic book fans. It's the centrepiece for every Comiccon and the stage for the biggest reveals and presentations, making it one of the most historic locations in geek culture history.
