Let’s say you have just about managed to convince your parents that there’s still a rewarding experience to be found in the harem genre, and through all the awkwardness and multiple romantic interests there are plenty of great stories in there. But now you’ve made the mistake of showing them your weird monster-girl-hybrid fetish in the form of Monster Musume - Great now they think you want to –CENSORED- snakes. Dad did some weird stuff in his hay-day but this knocks it way out the park.

Has there ever been more of a lovable loser than Kintaro Oe? Sure, his attempts to seduce a different woman each episode often end in failure and sometimes leave him in a great amount of pain, but you have to admire someone who has such an appetite for life that just doesn’t give up. At least that’s what we see, try showing it to your parents and all they are going to see is a sex-crazed weirdo whose conquests fill them with nothing but disappointment.

Magic, monsters and a high school setting? Sounds like the perfect recipe to show off some of the most successful tropes in anime. After all, even if there’s a little bit of erotic content it should only add to the development of the characters and story, right? Well, try explaining that when you have a huge roster of supporting female characters with increasingly large cup sizes and the narrative tending to focus less on the magic side of things and more on the ways the girls can lose their clothes the quickest.

Not going to lie, there is no reason you should ever consider showing this anime to your parents, unless you’re actively trying to scar them for life. From the very first scene (which happens to consist of a well-endowed student getting fondled) this series tosses every kind of innuendo and phallic imagery at the screen without pause. Everything from grossly abnormal breast sizes, constant groping, as well as a rather infamous scene involving a waterslide filled with what looks like a certain white bodily fluid, this truly is death by fanservice.

The tale of five male students trying to escape from their school’s prison facility is all in all a hilarious comedy and a true example of how bromance can overcome all obstacles. We would be on the border of actually recommending this one since its crass humour often hits its mark…if it weren’t for the fact that one of the prison wardens has a massive rack for the whole world to see, there’s an entire subplot dedicated to peeing, masochism seems to be one of the main themes and of course there’s more panty shots that you can count. Sorry, mom.

The plot of this series revolves around a kunochi who has the power to absorb other women’s’ breast sizes in order to add to her own. At this point… we don’t think we need to continue the entry but what the hell. Along with her boob-obsessed sidekick, the journey of our heroine pretty much equates to her meeting other equally busty ladies and having something of an erotic slapfest. Oh, and plenty of steamy yuri moments in between. Hey maybe dad might like this one.

Oh sure, on the surface this anime might seem like one perfectly suitable for showing the folks, what with its timid lead, and admittedly cool action scenes. Alas, this was a mere pocket experience compared to what the rest of the series has planned; namely several artificial-human ladies literally landing in the protagonist’s lap (often naked) and battling his ever-growing harem for their attention. They might throw the occasional punch, but above all else it’s their chests that are going to do the swinging.

Surely there’s no better way to expose my parents to the awesomeness of anime than a modern shonen. Solid theory, but poor execution should you choose Sasha to be the one to introduce them. After all, not only is there plenty of topless scenes involving his various female sidekicks, but this guy literally get his abilities from…breast milk. You do not want to be in the room with your Mom watching as that scene unfolds.

See Mom and Dad? Anime isn’t just all about ridiculous amounts of blood and boobs, it can actually tell a cohesive story about love, loss and maturity. Who are those two you ask? Well, those are our heroes, Haruka and Sora, they lost their parents in an accident and have to learn to overcome their trauma by…oh…uh…well, Haruka is just getting it on with every female character because of the crushing loneliness in his soul and…no…no, we don’t have an excuse for why he’s suddenly having sex with his sister.

Unless your parents really enjoy the sight of giant, exposed animated breasts filling the screen in every other scene, we can’t wholeheartedly recommend you show them this one. We think the plot has something to do with a tournament and the all-female warrior participants, but it’s not like you’re going to end up getting that far since its CLEARLY not the focus of this show. You might want to make sure your parents still love you after this…You know what? Lets be real. Don’t show your parents any anime.
