Who doesn't love these To All the Boys franchise outfits? For this list, we'll be looking at our favorite looks that Lara Jean wore in the first and second movie. Our countdown includes house party outfit, Valentine's Day dress, blue gown, and more!
These are all the outfits we’ve loved before. Welcome to MsMojo, and today we’ll be counting down our picks for the Top 10 To All the Boys (Franchise) Outfits.

For this list, we’ll be looking at our favorite looks that Lara Jean wore in the first and second movie.

#10: House Party Outfit
“To All the Boys I've Loved Before” (2018)

Lara Jean is a bit of a homebody, so when she starts fake dating Peter she’s out of her element when she finds herself having to attend high school house parties. She puts together a look that is wholly her though, with a black dress featuring a Peter Pan collar and a pale blue bomber jacket over top. Now, we know that the thing that pulled this whole look together was Lara Jean’s signature scrunchie, which was rudely removed from her hair and then stolen by the evil Gen.

#9: Fakesgiving Dress
“To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You” (2020)

In the sequel, “P.S. I Still Love You”, we learn about an adorable tradition that the Covey family has. Because Lara Jean’s mom hated that all the best holidays were grouped together at the end of the year, she took it upon herself to create a new one that was dubbed Fakesgiving, which is celebrated in March. For the occasion, Lara Jean wears a dark V neck dress with pale yellow polka dots that is feminine and flattering. Her simple hair style makes the look perfectly retro chic.

#8: First Day of School Look
“To All the Boys I've Loved Before” (2018)

In the first movie, we get something of an intro to Lara Jean’s style with what she decides to wear on the first day of school. She wears a plaid button down shirt artfully tied into a crop style paired with beige shorts, combat style boots and knee high burgundy socks. While the outfit may sound like a lot, it totally worked. When she bumps into Gen in the hallway, her ex bestie mocks Lara Jean’s footwear, which is pretty ridiculous considering she’s wearing Uggs - which are pretty much the most basic thing out there.

#7: Final Scene Outfit
“To All the Boys I've Loved Before” (2018)

At the very end of the first movie, Lara Jean decides to put away her hard feelings and finally tell Peter how she really feels- with a letter of course. She marches onto the lacrosse field (after driving there all by herself!) wearing a perfectly preppy outfit. She rocks a plaid schoolgirl style skirt with a grey sweater and white button down underneath. We love that she’s also wearing her red wool Paddington-style coat, which she sports on several occasions throughout the series. Of course her hair is down, which is how we know Peter likes it!

#6: Valentine's Day Dress
“To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You” (2020)

Of course, Lara Jean dresses up thematically for Valentine’s Day. It’s her first time being in a couple for the holiday, and for the occasion she wears a dress printed with tiny red hearts that wouldn’t be nearly as adorable on any other day of the year. She may have been disappointed when Peter didn’t make a grand public gesture for her, but the outfit paired perfectly with the sweet moment he gave her the necklace. The dress is HVN by Harley Viera Newton and if you do some digging, you might be able to find a used version for yourself!

#5: Red Skirt & White Top
“To All the Boys I've Loved Before” (2018)

Sometimes the simplest outfits are the most memorable. In the first movie, Lara Jean wears a cream-colored mock neck sweater paired with a red skirt with buttons on it and it’s kind of perfect. Did you notice that Lara Jean and her mint green bike actually match the exterior of the restaurant that she pulls up at? Of course, the scene gets even better when Peter sits beside her at the counter and confronts her about their sudden kiss. Why don’t we have an adorable Corner Cafe where we live?

#4: Striped Tee & Overalls
“To All the Boys I've Loved Before” (2018)

One of the first outfits that we see Lara Jean wear shows off her style and personality perfectly. When Josh is still Margot’s boyfriend (and Lara Jean’s secret crush), he shows up at the Covey house and Lara Jean is waiting on the staircase in a pair of overalls and a striped t-shirt. While Josh may fade to the background as the story goes on (not even appearing in the second movie at all!) we’ll never forget this cute and casual look and might just try to replicate it ourselves.

#3: Blue Gown
“To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You” (2020)

It almost seems like the entire plot of the second movie was leading up to Lara Jean wearing this epic dress. Lara Jean’s new friend from the retirement home, Stormy, lends her this minty hued gown for the Star Ball, and it certainly makes for a romantic climax to the film. The tiered tulle dress was created by altering a piece from the Spring 2019 J. Mendel collection. The bottom of the dress was removed and fabric was added to create off the shoulder straps (and a more modest neckline). Who wouldn’t fall in love with her in a look like this?

#2: First Date Dress
“To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You” (2020)

At the beginning of “P.S. I Still Love You”, we get to see Lara Jean and Peter go on their first official date. Costume designer Lorraine Carson knew how important Lara Jean’s outfit was for this night on the town and ended up opting for a short crimson dress by Rebecca Vallance. It shows that our protagonist has grown up a bit since the last movie, and is taking her role as a real girlfriend very seriously. Can you believe that the coat that Lara Jeans wears when they’re lighting the lanterns is actually from Zara?

Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.

#1: Fake Girlfriend Agreement Outfit
“To All the Boys I've Loved Before” (2018)

In a scene that is mirrored later at the end of the film, Lara Jean confidently walks up to Peter while he’s playing lacrosse in order to tell him she’s ready to start their mutually beneficial fake relationship. She’s wearing a pale pink bomber jacket with black trim and a tropical floral dress that is oh so girly and adorable. The scene where she and Peter draw up their contract is one of the most memorable in the film, and that’s why this outfit has become so iconic and is even used on the updated book cover.
