Child star-turned-party girl Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to bad publicity. Compared to some of the other embarrassing photographs of her, this wardrobemalfunction is actually a fairly minor scandal. Nevertheless, the press still had a field day when the “Mean Girls” actress visited Brazil back in 2013. Upon landing in Florianopolis, Lohan exited her helicopter wearing a close-fitting gray dress. Unfortunate for Lilo, she made the mistake of going braless, and her right breast subsequently popped out. Ironically, Lohan was in Brazil to promote a clothing line. Luckily, Lindsay’s ponytail covered up most of her breast, but if it weren’t for her red locks, this entry likely would’ve placed much higher here.

One of the perks of being a wallflower is that you can easily blend into the background. Emma Watson will always stand out from the crowd, however, being one of the most iconic young actresses of her generation. At the 2012 premiere of her new movie, Watson’s backless dress exposed a little too much skin. As Watson joined hands with her co-stars on the red carpet, her left breast accidentally began to slip out. The British actress luckily came prepared, covering herself with a silicone nipple daisy. That one wardrobe malfunction aside, Watson still managed to look even classier than Hermione Granger at the Yule Ball.

This juicy piece of gossip almost sounds like something out of an episode of “Desperate Housewives.” In 2011, Eva Longoria dropped by the “Late Show With David Letterman” to talk about her new cookbook. The actress decided to wear a tuxedo… or at least “part of one,” as Dave put it. Longoria looked nothing short of ravishing in her blue blazer and shorts, although she failed to put on a bra. In the midst of talking about guacamole and cilantro, one of Eva’s buttons came undone. Letterman was nearly treated to a glimpse of her chest, but Longoria covered up before he could see anything. Needless to say, “Eva’s Kitchen” was hardly the highlight of the interview. 

“Focus” might have starred Hollywood giants like Will Smith and Margot Robbie, but all eyes were on Christina Milian at the film’s 2015 premiere. At the TCL Chinese Theatre, Milian sported a silky blue jacket, but she neglected to wear a shirt or bra underneath. The movie premiere suddenly turned into an episode of “The Side Boob Hour” with the cameras focused on the scantily clad singer/actress. Milian’s getup was just a little too revealing, though, as her right breast couldn’t be kept under wraps. She came close to having an all-out wardrobe disaster, but a bit of tape once again saved the day. The moral of the story: always come prepared when showing off the cleavage. 

Joining Miley Cyrus on her Bangerz Tour, Lily Allen donned a silver outfit that left little to the imagination. Like our previous entry, Allen probably would’ve benefitted from wearing something underneath her jumpsuit. Where Christina Milian at least had nipple tape as a backup, Allen didn’t think ahead. With her jacket barely zipped up, the pop singer exposed her bare breast while performing in Long Island, New York. It might’ve been a Miley Cyrus concert, but Allen was the real wrecking ball here. One would think that she would’ve learned her lesson, but Allen wore the same jumpsuit to the 2014 V Festival and endured anotherwardrobe malfunction. In both cases, however, she just kept performing like a true professional. 

It’s only fitting that something unlucky would happen at the premiere of “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.” Jennifer Garner, who plays Alexander’s mother in the film, arrived on the red carpet wearing an elegant black ensemble. While posing with co-star Steve Carell, Garner’s bag got stuck to her little black dress. This caused her frock to fly open, exposing the nude Spanx underneath. If the big screen adaptation of the 1972 children’s book taught us anything, though, it’s that joy can be uncovered even on the worst days, which Garner proved by embracing her blunder and wearing a smile.

As one of the most famous super models in the business right now, Kate Upton is accustomed to wearing skimpy outfits and having her picture taken. Regardless, the glamorous Upton was totally caught off guard during a blunder at a Miami residence. During the shoot, Upton sported a black and white skirt. Then in true Marilyn Monroe fashion, a gust of wind kicked in and blew that skirt right up. This revealed her underwear and buttock, but Kate didn’t let the bad weather get her down. She just laughed the incident off and carried on. This Sports Illustrated cover model truly is a good sport. 

After playing Marissa Cooper on “The O.C.,” Mischa Barton just seemed to “get lost.” The former “It Girl” briefly resurfaced in 2015, upon attending a screening of her new film, “Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain.” While the movie itself wasn’t especially memorable, Barton made headlines with her wardrobe malfunction at the event. Like many of the other stars on this list, she chose not to wear a bra. This ultimately backfired, as Barton’s white top failed to conceal her breast. Sitting in her seat, Barton’s left nipple was exposed for the whole world to see. Get a good look, Martin Sheen?

You know that dream where you’re on stage in front of thousands of people and then suddenly you’re in your underwear? Well, this nightmare was all too real for Taylor Swift. In another wardrobe malfunction right out of “The Seven Year Itch,” Swift was performing her hit single “You Belong With Me” in Missouri. Out of the blue, the wind machine on stage caused her dress to lift up. She wears high heels, I wear sneakers, and Miss Swift apparently wears granny panties. This mishap didn’t faze Taylor in the slightest, however. Taylor’s on-stage incident was a worthy contender for our top spot, but Iggy Azalea had one of the best celebrity wardrobe malfunctions of all time! At the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards, Azalea aimed to show off her sexy legs. In the end, though, she proved that it’s possible for a high-cut dress to be cut too high. Walking down the carpet, the rapper accidentally flashed her… um… carpet. Azalea was wearing a beige thong, but her underwear covered so little that she might as well have just gone commando. Given the enormous split in her outfit, it’s actually surprising that Azalea didn’t anticipate a wardrobe malfunction of this magnitude.  Do you agree with our list?
