Heidi Montag became a reality TV sensation on MTVs The Hills, but she shocked the world in 2009 when she revealed she had undergone a staggering ten - yes ten cosmetic procedures in a single day. The list included a brow lift, nose job revision, breast augmentation, liposuction, a chin reduction, and even something referred to as back scooping. While Heidi initially praised the results, she later confessed to regrets. In fact, she has been quoted as saying she now has more scars on her body than most car crash victims. Yeesh. Its no surprise then that shes since warned others about the risks of intense body modification.

Once known for his raw rock star charm and earth-rattling vocals, Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose raised eyebrows in the 2000s with a dramatically altered appearance. Fans speculated about multiple Botox procedures that left him looking nearly unrecognizable. Allegedly, Botox isnt the only cause. According to experts, his unfortunate frozen results were reportedly worsened by a facelift and at least one poorly done chemical peel. Although Rose has never publicly confirmed undergoing surgery, the before-and-after comparisons speak volumes leaving younger generations consistently stunned that its even the same person.

Academy Award nominated actress Melanie Griffith, known for her roles in Working Girl and Something Wild, has found herself at the center of media scrutiny due to her changing appearance. Reid disclosed that the botch not only ruined her body but also hurt her acting opportunities. She has since had a corrective procedure,including a "doughnut mastopexy," and further liposuction to even out her abdomen.

Priscilla Presley, former wife of Elvis Presley and part time actress, was an unfortunate victim of a phony plastic surgeon. The doctor, who posed as a licensed professional in the United States (but was most certainly not), injected Priscillas face with an unapproved substance which is said to have been industrial low-grade silicone - similar to car lubricant. The imposter physician was later imprisoned for his fraudulent and dangerous practices. However, the procedure left Presley with lasting damage and a swollen and misshapen face. She later underwent corrective work, but the initial harm had already been done.

The wacky comedian Carrot Top was once known for his wild red hair and silly props from his trademark treasure chest - but as time went on, it was his face that had people talking. The prop comics extreme look sparked rumors of extensive plastic surgery, including plenty of Botox, brow lifts, and facial fillers. Carrot Top has denied going under the knife, however. Many experts and fans remain unconvinced. Along with a bulging muscular physique, his transformed appearance has become a running joke in Hollywood, often overshadowing his own Vegas-headlining comedy.
