From rare tattoos to exclusive vehicles, we're diving into the most frustrating and time-consuming collectibles that will test even the most dedicated players. Our countdown reveals the incredible challenges behind obtaining items like the Alien Tattoo, Criminal Mastermind Bonus, Halloween T-Shirts, and the legendary P-996 LAZER jet. Which of these items will push your gaming skills to the absolute limit?
The 10 Hardest Items to Get in GTA V
Welcome to MojoPlays, and I hope you’ve got a lot of skill, or a LOT of patience, because today we are looking at the 10 Hardest Items to Get in GTA V. The list is endless, and often subjective depending on your own talents as a gamer, so make sure to let us know in the comments if we missed one of your favs.
#10: Criminal Mastermind Completion Bonus
Have you ever tried to organise lunch with a group of more than two people? You may as well try and organise a marching band of 10-year-olds. To get this completion bonus in Grand Theft Auto V, you need to complete every Doomsday Heist mission in order, AND with the same four-player team, AND on hard difficulty, AND without losing a single life. The prize? A hefty GTA $3,750,000. Now, even though Rockstar themselves called this particular challenge the holy grail of achievements in their game, we are ranking it number 10 because it’s more of a big cash prize rather than an item… But I’m stretching the rules because I bloody wanna… get off my back.#9: Halloween Tee-Shirt
Rockstar once introduced some highly exclusive Halloween-themed shirts that stirred up a range of emotions among fans. These shirts were obtainable only through one unique method, the Rockstar Broadcast Stream GTA Online T-shirt Cannon. This exclusivity BY DEFINITION makes them some of the rarest items in the game. First off, you had to be at the event, and get shot by the cannon. Now, unfortunately, they're no longer available, so if you didn’t win one you’re out of luck. Technically, it should be in the number one slot, but that’d be a bit boring wouldn’t it? And I’m all about the razzle dazzle, rather than the content.#8: Minigun
Finding the minigun isn’t the challenge, it’s reaching it. It’s sort of like saying “finding the top of the Empire State Building is impossible.” Nah, it’s up there, but how the HELL do you get to it? Much like the P-996 LAZER jet (which may come up later), the minigun spawns at the top of the Fort Zancudo control tower (before easier methods were introduced). This isn’t a casual spot you can stroll into for a chat and a snack. Unless, of course, your mom’s house happens to be guarded by heavily armed soldiers and Rhino tanks. And trust me, your mom’s house isn’t guarded at all, she lets me in any day of the week - BOOM, GOT YOU! MUM JOKE IN A MOJO VID! I CAN DIE HAPPY.#7: Monkey Outfits
Monkey Mosaics are a special collectible found only in the enhanced edition of GTA 5. These 8-bit mosaic artworks are scattered across the game world. By photographing all 50 mosaics, players earn unique monkey-themed outfits. Returning players also unlock the exclusive Monkey Mosaic random event, which, once completed, grants access to the Go Go Monkey Blista in their garages. I’ve heard of monkey business, but this is just insane! Did I put this entry in JUST so I could make that crap joke? Maybe. Shut up.#6: Racing Blonde Tattoo
Have you ever heard of the Guinness Book of World of Records? Basically, to earn a place and a trophy, you have to beat a world record. Well, equally important and well known is the racing blonde tattoo in GTA V. For less experienced GTA V racers, the Racing Blonde tattoo might feel like an impossible goal. Unlocking it requires setting a world record in a race, which is extremely challenging to achieve legitimately. Be the best, at least once, set that record and claim your prize. I should add, there are a few clever workarounds that might help you snag this coveted item, but if you use them then you’re a damn coward and your father will never respect you.#5: The Space Docker
Grand Theft Auto V has been surrounded by rumors of aliens since its release. Rockstar, ever the pranksters, packed the game with extraterrestrial Easter eggs, leading to a special side quest for the most devoted players, collecting Spaceship Parts. In total, there are 50 Spaceship Parts hidden in some of the game’s most unexpected spots. Finding them involves following the glow and rhythmic humming they emit, but without a detailed guide, locating all 50 can be a deeply painful task. What’s the payoff for all this effort? The Space Docker. This quirky vehicle resembles a modified dune buggy, decked out with sci-fi-inspired enhancements and gadgets. Its standout feature? A unique ability to briefly "glide" when driven off ramps or jumps. Not worth it.#4: Z-Type
Grand Theft Auto V is packed with nostalgic nods to the series' golden days, and one standout is the Z-Type, a car first introduced in Grand Theft Auto II. I bet half of you little dinguses have never even played GTA 2. Don’t bother, it’s poo. Players today can however relive the classic by purchasing it from LegendaryMotorSports.net, provided they’ve saved up the hefty $10,000,000 price tag. It might not be a budget-friendly acquisition, but for fans of this iconic ride, it’s well worth the investment! I should say before we move on, for non-GTA V fans, that’s not an easy number to reach in your wallet. Have I justified its place on this list yet? Good, moving on.#3: The P-996 LAZER
Thinking of snagging that sleek military jet? Good luck, you’ll need it. The guards at Fort Zancudo are as relentless as Arnold Schwarzenegger on a mission to save his daughter in Commando, complete with plenty of explosions. Before the P-996 LAZER became purchasable during its special event week, attempting to steal one was an incredibly risky endeavor. I actually turned it into a fine art, and by that I mean I managed to get killed 1000 times before I got it once and decided I must be a damn god.#2: Orange Tee-Shirt
The way to get your hands on this shirt is pretty straight forward. Simply earn 100% completion in the GTA V campaign. This is NOT an easy task, think of all the side missions, and the collectibles, some of which have already been discussed on this list. In fact, if you think about it, you actually have to get some of the hardest items to get in the game before you can get THIS item. After 100% completion, you only need to go to Franklin’s house and look in the closet. Imagine that? You have a really wonderful day at work and come home to a new shirt in your closet as a reward... I’d call the police.#1: The Alien Tattoo
This is arguably the rarest item in the game right now, likely designed as a playful nod to the rarity of spotting a UFO in real life. To pursue it, you’ll need both a bunker and a nightclub, which ALREADY will take up a good amount of your time. But strap in, because there’s more. First, complete at least 600 bunker resupply missions. Yes, 600. Then, start additional resupply missions between 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM in-game time until you trigger the alien egg resupply mission near a crashed UFO. It’s totally random, and this section alone will take weeks out of your life. But, you’re still not done. Next, head to your nightclub and drink Macbeth Whisky shots between 1:00 AM and 4:00 AM in-game time during rain, snow, or thunderstorms. Keep at it until you wake up on Mt. Chiliad and see a UFO. Again, this is totally random, and can take days of attempts. This truly is, and please forgive me for dropping an Australian phrase on you, a full and total ball-ache.![User](/my/images/anonymous.png)
