VOICE OVER: Ty Richardson WRITTEN BY: Ty Richardson
The latest Tekken game has no shortage of wacky moments! Welcome to MojoPlays, and today, we're taking a look at the strangest, craziest, and most unexpected endings in “Tekken 8”. Our list includes Kuma, Bryan Fury, Alisa Bosconovitch, Azucena, Kazuya Mishima and more!

Kuma

We’ve been championing Kuma for a long time. Ever since we learned of his love for Panda, we have been channeling as much positivity for the grizzly. Please, PLEASE let the stars align for our favorite bear! Alas, no. In his ending, Kuma dreams of confessing his love to Panda while the two are in space. However, a hole in his space orb causes him to awaken. Not only was the whole thing a dream, he also wound up losing the match…to Ling Xiaoyu. Silly ol’ bear.

Bryan Fury

From a cybernetic killer like Bryan Fury, we would expect an ending where he destroys every military in the world or even upgrades his implants with more weaponry or something. But in his ending for “Tekken 8”, what does he do with the Mishima Zaibatsu? He takes the funds and military and turns them into his own rowdy group of “Mad Max”-like gang and roams the sandy deserts. Not only that, he somehow got Paul, Marshall, and Hwoarang to join him. It is all kinds of “what the hell is going on”, yet it is such a cool ending.

Steve Fox

At first, we were thinking Steve’s ending was gonna suck. That was during the first half of it though. He gets the wealth and power of the Mishima Zaibatsu, and all he does is turn the King of Iron Fist Tournament into a tournament entirely centered on boxing? Lame. But then, Paul and Marshall pay him a visit. If you thought the dudes of “Tekken” were all ridiculously muscled, you have yet to see Uber Swole Steve.

Alisa Bosconovitch

Ever since “Tekken 6”, there has been this weird “will they, won’t they” situation between Alisa and Lars. It’s had its cute moments, but “Tekken 8” puts a full-on stop to it in Alisa’s ending. Not only does she lay Lars down on the mat, they have this heartbreaking scene as if Lars is dying. Of course, Lars being Lars, he causes Alisa to blush, and the heat from blushing causes her head to trigger detonation. Basically, she kills Lars!

Lee Chaolan

Lee has long been after the throne of the Mishima Zaibatsu. With Heihachi out of the picture, that throne is within reach, closer than ever before. And after winning the King of Iron Fist Tournament, he gets to live out the superhero fantasy many kids dream about. He has a super smart AI made of a Combot head named “Hachi”, an ultra high-tech suit fitted with all kinds of weaponry, and a fancy as hell tower. Lee just becomes Iron Man, which is something not one ounce of his character has ever suggested could happen.

Azucena

The sexy coffee queen has been making waves both within “Tekken” as a story and “Tekken” as a competitive game in the real-world. But it has caused a stir between her and lovely French lady Lili de Rochefort. Azucena’s ending shows the two having the classic debate of which is the superior relaxing beverage - coffee or tea? What results is an alpaca downing a mixture of both women’s drinks and the two creating a new blend made of coffee and tea. Disgusting? Absolutely, because we all know tea is the better drink.

Lars Alexandersson

So, let’s pretend that Alisa never won the King of Iron Fist, okay? What do you think Lars would do if he was given access to the Mishima Zaibatsu’s wealth and military? Well, it’s for a [seemingly] more noble cause. We get to witness a PSA he’s thrown together with Alisa and Lee, encouraging folks to join the Rebellion in the fight against G Corporation. Suddenly, the PSA turns into a romantic moment between Mr. Super Saiyan and his robot girlfriend. At least that PSA didn’t look too bad; what other military has fishing as a benefit?

Sergei Dragunov

With a stoic and scary-looking dude like Dragunov, one has to be frightened of what he’d be capable of with an organization as big as the Mishima Zaibatsu. Surprisingly…nothing! Dragunov goes completely left field with his ending: the guy just builds a pink camo toy tank. Seeing him discover his favorite toyline has long been discontinued, we can feel his pain, certainly. We suppose the end result is better than him living with model trains in a basement.

Marshall Law

Marshall has typically been overconfident, and it gets worse when Paul Phoenix is around. What Marshall would never consider is that great power does indeed come with great responsibility. Turns out, after winning the tournament, he got reckless and racked up some collateral damage somewhere. The bill turns out to be so big that HE DIES! Simply reading a bunch of zeroes killed him, and now, Paul is left with the bill.

Kazuya Mishima

Now, we know that Kazuya has possibly had some obsession with sneakers. It was touched upon in the first “Tekken” in such a subtle way that most would never register what happens in his ending for “Tekken 8”. The video interview where he brags about power and his love and admiration for Jun, okay, that is classic Kazuya. But then, he opens the vault behind him and shows a massive collection of top-of-the-line sneakers?? Did Harada really confirm Kazuya is a sneakerhead? Which ending did you think was the weirdest in Tekken 8? Did it make our list? Let us know down in the comments, and don’t forget to subscribe to MojoPlays for more great videos everyday!
