Stockholm is a city full of history, and that rich past is present in the architecture of the area. The Gamla Stan or Old Town is a medieval city center that showcases ancient culture and architecture.

Found within the Old Town is the Stockholm Palace. This is one of most famous tourist destinations in the whole city. The City Hall stands on the shore, and it is majestically reflected in the city’s clean waters. The tall spire of the City Hall is topped with a golden statue of the Three Crowns, and this iconic silhouette represents the city’s coat of arms.
