Top 10 Wendy’s Most Savage Twitter Roasts

If you’re not following the Wendy’s Twitter account, you’re really missing out. Welcome to WatchMojo.com, and today we’re counting down our picks for the top ten Wendy’s most savage Twitter roasts.

For this list, we’ll be looking at unforgettable, biting and/or entertaining Wendy’s roasts, whether they are directed at people or their rival companies.

#10: At Least They Get Something

Wendy’s just loves trashing their competitors, whether it’s McDonald’s, or, in this case, Burger King – hot scoop: they're not fans of the BK. This was evident when a twitter user tweeted “BK for the win” at Wendy’s. Rather than respectfully disagreeing and acknowledging their competitor, Wendy’s fired back, “What’d they win? A participation trophy?” Whether your loyalties lie with Wendy’s or Burger King, there’s no denying that this is one savage response. Fun fact: Burger King has over 15,000 locations throughout the world, while Wendy’s only has 6,500. So, take that as you will.

#9: Not Even Carl’s Jr. Is Immune

Turns out, even the smaller chains aren’t immune to the vicious roasts. It all started when someone asked how Wendy’s food compared to Carl’s Jr. Carl’s Jr.’s official Twitter account shot back with “LOL they don’t”, which is as weak as day old fountain pop. Not to be ridiculed, Wendy’s fired back, “Yeah, for one, if we were going to diss another restaurant we’d have more than zero likes and RTs after 13 hours.” And boom goes the taco salad! Oddly, Carl’s Jr. never responded to this attack. It's like they knew that they’ve been destroyed.

#8: Maybe Don’t Ask Wendy’s

We get it: the dating world can be difficult, and everyone is quick to offer all sorts of different advice. However, if you’re looking for love tips, maybe you should ask someone who has actually enjoyed success in relationships. Not, you know, a fast food restaurant. One Twitter user did just that though, taking to Twitter to ask Wendy’s if they had any relationship advice for them. Wendy’s, being the snarky company that they are, responded, “If you’re asking a fast food Twitter this relationship might be doomed.” Yeah, it’s funny, but they’re not wrong…

#7: There Is Only One Opinion

Many different people have different tastes when it comes to fast food. Some like McDonald’s, some like Wendy’s, and some like Burger King. One tweep decided to let Wendy's know they weren't a fan, saying “My friends like Wendy’s but I don’t. What do I tell them?” No one can be sure what kind of answer they were expecting, but Wendy’s seemingly can’t stand the idea of someone not enjoying their food, and thus they succinctly fired back, “Apologize for being wrong.” And you have to think that just maybe they did...

#6: At Burger King’s Throat Again

Wendy’s really doesn’t like Burger King, but hey, BK drew first blood. It all started when Wendy’s harmlessly advertised their 4 for $4 deal. Burger King’s Twitter responded with an advertisement for their 5 items for $4 deal, claiming that “5 is better than 4.” Not one to pass up a potential roast, one tweep asked Wendy’s how they were going to fire back. Wendy’s certainly didn’t disappoint when they responded with “edible food.” That was just perfection, and BK knew it.

#5: Wendy’s Acts as Teacher

Not only is the Wendy’s Twitter account hilarious, it’s educational as well! Wendy’s originally tweeted, “Our beef is way too cool to ever be frozen,” complete with a badass sunglass emoji. One follower apparently didn’t understand this particular tweet, because he asked, “Wouldn’t that mean it’s cold so it’s frozen idk I’m confused.” Wendy’s was apparently really psyched for the opportunity to teach someone a new term, as they responded, “This is so exciting we get to introduce you to the colloquial usage of the word ‘cool’ it’s a brand new day for you.” Snarky, but educational.

#4: Trashing McDonald’s

Burger King isn’t the only chain that Wendy’s seems to despise. McDonald’s is the biggest restaurant franchise in the entire world, yet that doesn’t stop Wendy’s from brutally attacking their reputation. It seems as if they just don’t respect their elders. So when one user knowingly took a shot at Wendy’s, asking them to find her the nearest McDonald’s, Wendy’s simply responded with a picture of a trash can. It's hard to say what’s funnier – the message of the tweet itself, or the fact that Wendy’s couldn’t even be bothered to write anything. Either way, it’s damn funny.

#3: Get a New Girl

In between burns, Wendy’s isn’t above dishing out a cool bit of education. Turns out that they’re not above dishing out some relationship advice, either... well, from time to time anyway. When asked by a follower what he should do about his girlfriend, as she doesn’t like their food, the pride of Ohio shot back: “Might need some couples therapy tbh”. We don’t know about you, but the thought of a couple going to therapy over a burger chain is just hilarious to us.

#2: While You Still Can

Like McDonald’s, Carl’s Jr., and Burger King before them, In-N-Out Burger also fell to the wrath of Wendy’s. And sure, fans will tell you that In-N-Out probably didn't deserve it, but that doesn't make it any less funny. When asked by a Twitter user “I’m at in and out, what should I get?”, Wendy’s simply responded with one word: “Out.” Using their own name against them AND answering the question in a legitimate manner? Now that’s a good roast.

Before we unveil our top picks, here are a few honorable mentions.

Poor Guy

He Asked for It

They Really Hate Opinions

#1: That Is Quite the Cost

Wendy’s often tries to save their customer base from what they see as the horror that is McDonald’s. However, their customers just aren’t listening to them. A Twitter user was intentionally egging Wendy’s on when he directly asked them how much a Big Mac cost. Wendy’s wasn’t in the mood for another company's dollars and cents and shot back with two quick words: “Your dignity.” It’s a hilarious answer, and it burns deeper than chilli meat.
