VOICE OVER: Dan Paradis
It may take a while to put these suits on, but damn they'll make you feel like a badass wearing them. Sometimes it's the bulky suit that makes the man or woman. Join http://www.watchmojo.com as we countdown our picks for the top 10 Armored Suits in VideoGames.

Special Thanks to our users "mega101x" "Ewan99" "codster9" & "Gabriel Andrew" for suggesting this topic on our website WatchMojo.comsuggest page!

#10: Pilot Suits
“Titanfall” (2014)

It’s intimidating to take on the terrifyingly large Titans in this game if you’re not controlling one, but these suits will help. They’ve got jetpacks that allow you to jump high in the air and wall-run, so you’ll be able to dodge attacks and setup the perfect shot with one of the Anti-Titan weapons like the Archer Heavy Rocket. Try one on, and take “hardcore parkour” to a whole new level.

#9: COG Armor
“Gears of War” series (2006-)

The armor in this series protects your vital organs without stopping you from getting around, and it also makes you look tough as nails. Not only that, but it has a magnetic holster that allows you to carry two weapons at once. It’s nice to have the extra firepower on you, because as big as the Gear makes you look, it only makes you just as big as bare chested locust drone.

#8: T-51B Power Armor
“Fallout 3” (2008)

This suit doesn’t actually do much, but it sure looks badass. A relic of the post war world, the Brotherhood’s armor is definitely the go-to get-up for traversing the irradiated wasteland. It may not make you entirely impervious to super mutants, but anyone you come across in your travels will know you mean business; whether they’re green or otherwise.

#7: Terran Marines Suit
“StarCraft” series (1998-)

It takes a while to put this suit on, but since it’s technically a walking prison cell for “re-socialized” convicts, that sorta makes sense. Essentially doubling the size of the user inside, the shoulder pads are so big that they can store ammunition, ensuring the not so lucky marines have plenty of rounds for their C-14 rifle. The built in life support system means they can fight in almost any environment, but they’re by no means invincible.

#6: Engineering RIG
“Dead Space” series (2008-2013)

Who thought engineers would ever look so cool. Not only does it sport a sweet mask that folds up in a awesome layered system, but the glowing inhuman eye slits would definitely strike fear into your enemies…if they were alive to begin with. On top of that, when you’re dealing with the zero gravity areas in this game, you’ll be glad you have the RIG’s small thrusters and magnetic boots to help you get around.

#5: ARS Suit
“Vanquish” (2010)

You’ll have no problem vanquishing your enemies once you strap this suit on. The exoskeleton, made from titanium and carbon nanotubing, gives you light but sturdy protection. The ARS is great for combat, too, since it can scan enemy weapons and rebuild them for you to use yourself. It also reduces recoil, which will come in handy when you’re using guns that have a serious kick, like the Heavy Machine Gun. Best of all, the suit can enable you to slide along the ground at great speeds and look wicked cool while you’re doing it.

#4: HEV Suit
“Half-Life” series (1998-2007)

Like the Engineering Rig, this is a suit designed for utility instead of combat. But, things can get pretty hairy at the Black Mesa Research Facility, so it’s a good thing the HEV suit is here to protect you from radiation, electrical discharges, blunt force trauma, and more. It also has built-in features like a flashlight, a Geiger counter, and a morphine administrator to keep you going through the inevitable. If you want to make it even more useful, upgrade it with the Long Jump module to make yourself jump further.

#3: Nanosuit
“Crysis” series (2007-2013)

Whether it’s your speed or strength that you’re looking to amplify, this suit will help you out. Reverse engineered from alien technology, the Nanosuit creates a symbiotic relationship with it’s user to create the perfect soldier. Those who find themselves inside a Nanosuit can run faster, jump higher, sustain more damage and even become invisible for short periods of time. Plus, there’s a sweet voice that goes with it to make you feel like a total badass whenever you access these awesome abilities. All this power comes at a price though, because the hardest part about wearing it, is taking it off…

#2: MJOLNIR VI
“Halo” series (2001-)

This suit can’t be worn by normal humans, but it’s perfect for helping genetically modified Spartan soldiers like Master Chief kick ass. It protects you from hazards like toxic environments, the vacuum of space and the occasional plasma rifle blast. The suit’s regenerative gel will heal you, and the overshield will always come back after a short time, ensuring that your quest to save the universe never has to pause for very long.

Before we get to our #1, let’s take a look at some honorable mentions:

- Big Daddy
“BioShock” (2007)

- Helghast Suit
“Killzone” (2004-)

- Ultra-High-Tech-Indestructable Super Space Cyber Suit
“Earthworm Jim” (1994-1999)

N7 Armor
- “Mass Effect” series (2007-)

#1: Chozo Power Suit
“Metroid” series (1986-)

We’ve talked about some pretty kickass armored suits today, but we had to go with this one because it’s got the most unique features around, starting with it’s own built-in weapons. But it’s not like all it can do is fire. The DNA-infused suit gives you the ability to compress into a rolling ball, run so fast that you go through walls, and jump endlessly. It’s sure to make Space Pirates and Alien Parasites alike cower in fear.

Do you agree with our list? What do you think is the most badass armored suit? For more heavy top 10s published daily, be sure to subscribe to WatchMojo.com.
