#3: Bose SoundLink Revolve+
Not one of the cheapest Bluetooth speakers, but this small Bose speaker is simply one of the best. One of the highest rated at CNET.com with a critic score of 8.5 out of 10, the Bose SoundLink Revolve+ offers loud, clear, deep sound – and since it’s Bose it’s hard to pinpoint where the sound is coming from. This 360° speaker was engineered to spread sound in every direction. Pick the colour, pair it with your phone or other Bluetooth device and carry it around with its flexible handle. For the audiophiles out there, this small rugged speaker packs a highly efficient transducer, dual-passive radiators and that omnidirectional acoustic deflector that Bose is known for. Battery life tops 16 hours between charges.

Considered one of the best Bluetooth speakers on the market according to TechRadar, Beoplay P2 from Bang and Olufson is a very compact and flat speaker – measuring just 28 millimetres by 80 by 140 millimetres, and only 275 grams, yet it still manages to impress in the sound department. Play, pause or skip tracks, launch your smartphone’s personal assistant or use the Beoplay App to wake you up with your favourite music, podcast or audiobook. Battery life tops 10 hours. This affordable iHome might not have the best sound but as a clock radio for your night table, it’s quite good.
#6: Jamoji line from HMDX (“Homedics”)
From the makers of inexpensive Jam Bluetooth speakers comes Jam-oji…as the name suggests these are small, portable and affordable speakers made to look like popular emojis – whether it’s a smiley with heart eyes, sunglasses, a sly winking emjoi with its tongue sticking out and yes, even the poop emoji. All speakers are rechargeable and deliver up to six hours of play time on a full charge. For the price of a couple of drinks at Starbucks, Jamoji speakers are a great idea and are surprisingly loud.
#7: Klipsch Groove
Small but very powerful, clear and well-balanced, the Klipsch Groove Portable Bluetooth speaker was designed to bring big sound wherever life takes you. Whether it’s at home or in a hotel or a get together, this is room-filling sound that fits in the palm of your hand – between its 3-inch Full Range High Excursion Driver and Dual Side-firing Passive Bass Radiators – this speaker leverages 70 years of Klipsch’s heritage in the audio space. With an 8-hour battery and USB charging, the Klipsch Groove Bluetooth speaker is one of the best bang for the buck speakers – and it’s splash resistant, too, for outdoor fun.

With a built-in rechargeable battery and integrated Bluetooth connectivity, this portable sound system is perfect streaming your tunes wirelessly from your favorite Bluetooth-enabled device – be it a smartphone, tablet or laptop – or hook up a wired player to the 3.5mm audio jack.
#9: Monster Superstar RaveBox
Perfect for indoor parties, the Monster Superstar RaveBox is a powerful boombox that doesn’t just sound good, but features a multicolored kaleidoscope that pulses to the beat. The aptly named RaveBox might be best used for EDM, especially the booming bass, with the powered subwoofer. Along with 12 hours of continuous audio, the Monster Superstar RaveBox also has a built-in phone charger to give your device a boost at the party, indoor and outdoor EQ modes, and it’s splash-proof and waterproof.
#10: Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin Wireless Speaker
Supporting Bluetooth and AirPlay, the B&W Wireless Zeppelin looks amazing – it’s the shape of a zeppelin – but the sound is absolutely incredible – regardless of the music you listen to, and whether the music is stored locally or streaming from your favorite service. Even if it’s compressed audio like a Spotify or Apple Music stream or low-quality MP3 track you have on your phone, the B&W Zeppelin can make it sound significantly better. Use high-resolution audio files like FLAC and you’ll wonder how you lived without this wireless speaker. Style meets substance with the Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin.
