This season not only took the friends to London, but some highly unexpected places as well. Welcome to MsMojo and today we're counting down our picks for the Top 10 Friends Season 4 Moments. For this list, we’re doing a deep dive into the fourth season of “Friends” and picking the funniest and most memorable moments.

#10: The Wedding Dresses "The One with All the Wedding Dresses"

Also in:

Top 10 Ugliest Wedding Dresses in Movies and TV

When Monica is charged with picking up Emily’s wedding dress for her, the shop owner thinks that she is Emily and asks if she wants to try the dress on. She becomes enamored with her own reflection, and ends up putting on the dress at home to do dishes in. Phoebe, not wanting to be left out, finds a maternity wedding gown of her own, and eventually Rachel joins in on the fun too. While this scene is absolutely hilarious, it ends up being bittersweet because it kind of ruins Rachel’s relationship with Joshua. Oh well!

#9: Rachel's Fake Party "The One with the Fake Party"

Also in:

Top 10 Funniest Rachel Moments on Friends

Rachel is typically pretty cool when it comes to guys, but as soon as she meets Joshua at work, she basically becomes unhinged. She tries pretty much everything to get his attention, and in this episode throws a going away party for Emily that is really just a ruse to see him. Once she has him there, she goes on to embarrass herself in pretty much every way you can imagine, from orchestrating a game of spin the bottle, to putting on her old cheerleading outfit, to almost choking to death on a cherry stem.

#8: Ross' Sound "The One Where Chandler Crosses the Line"

Also in:

Top 10 Monica & Ross Sibling Moments on Friends

After helping Phoebe work on one of her songs, Ross is reminded of his own musical aspirations from when he was younger. He tells Phoebe about his “sound” and she insists that he show of his skills to the rest of the group. What no one could have expected, however, is that Ross’ “wordless sound poems” are barely music at all, but rather a collection of sound effects ranging from laser noises to dog barks. The fact that he takes himself so seriously paired with the absolute ridiculousness of the performance itself makes this a scene that we will never forget.

#7: Chandler in a Box "The One with Chandler in a Box"

After Chandler kisses Joey’s girlfriend Kathy, he has to pay the price for his indiscretion. The Thanksgiving episodes of “Friends” are always the best, and this one is no exception. The fact that Chandler is literally inside a giant wooden box for nearly the whole episode acts as the backdrop for everything else that happens. Monica becomes romantically interested in Richard’s son, Ross and Rachel fight because she always returns the gifts people give her and eventually she proves that she keeps what matters. This episode, though, is an important one for Joey and Chandler’s friendship, and Joey’s act of kindness at the end gets us every time.

#6: The Jellyfish "The One with the Jellyfish"

Also in:

Top 10 Best Friends Season 3 Moments

Season 4 opens with the group of friends staying at a beach house, and while the rest of the gang is dealing with their own conflicts, Monica, Chandler, and Joey spend a day at the beach. Unfortunately, though, Monica is stung by a jellyfish, and they all panic trying to figure out what to do. One of them remembers hearing that if you pee on a jellyfish sting it will lessen the pain, and it comes time for one of the guys to step up to the plate since Monica can’t pee on herself. The fact that all of this takes place off-screen and we simply get to hear their retelling of it somehow makes it even funnier.

#5: Monica & Chandler Hook Up "The One with Ross's Wedding"

Also in:

Monica & Chandler VS Ross & Rachel: Who is the Ultimate Friends Couple?

One of the most pivotal moments of the entire series takes place in the Season 4 finale. While the group (minus Phoebe) is in London to attend Ross’ wedding to Emily, Monica is crushed when someone mistakes her for Ross’ mother at the rehearsal dinner. She uses it as an excuse to get very drunk, and the next morning find herself in bed with Chandler. This was the beginning of what many would call the most important relationship of the show (sorry Ross and Rachel). Even though we know what happens, the moment where Monica pops her head out of the blankets still makes us laugh.

#4: Monica & Rachel Teach Chandler How to Please a Woman "The One with Phoebe's Uterus"

Once Chandler and Kathy are actually together, he runs into a problem when he feels like his performance in the bedroom isn’t up to snuff. When he goes to talk to Monica and Rachel about it, it turns out they have a lot of thoughts on the issue. Monica draws up a diagram of the female body and goes on to tell Chandler all about the seven primary erogenous zones. In her description of what he should do with them, she gets a little carried away, making for one of the most iconic scenes of the series. That’s what friends are for, right?

#3: You Fell ASLEEP? "The One with the Jellyfish"

Also in:

Top 10 Unforgettable Friends Season 2 Moments

The season opens with Ross having chosen Rachel over Bonnie, but before they can walk off into the sunset together, Rachel wants to discuss some of the unresolved issues in their relationship. She writes Ross a VERY long letter (18 pages...front and back!) and he isn’t able to keep himself awake to read the entire thing. So, when Rachel poses the key question to him Xref(does it?), he takes a wild guess and answers yes, not knowing what he’s agreeing to. It all falls apart not long after when the truth is revealed. Rachel’s delivery of the line “You fell ASLEEP?” and the fight that ensues are just priceless.

#2: Ross Saying ‘Rachel’ Instead of ‘Emily’ "The One with Ross's Wedding"

There is perhaps no moment in “Friends” more well-known than this one. When it finally comes time for Ross and Emily to get married after a difficult journey towards the altar, Ross manages to completely mess it up by saying the wrong name during his vows. Rachel has shown up in London unexpectedly and Ross manages to let his real feelings out in a classic Freudian slip. It wraps up the season with a pretty epic cliffhanger, leaving fans to wonder what exactly would happen with Ross’ marriage, and with his relationship to Rachel. Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions. The Dirty Girl "The One with the Dirty Girl" Chandler Gets Handcuffed "The One with the Cuffs" Ross Tries to Quit the Gym "The One with the Ballroom Dancing" Phoebe's Holiday Song "The One with the Girl from Poughkeepsie" Joey Goes Vegetarian for Phoebe "The One with the Fake Party"

#1: The Game "The One with the Embryos"

Also in:

Best And Worst Moments From The Final Season of Game of Thrones

Ask a group of “Friends” fans what their favorite episode of the show is and you’ll probably hear a lot of people mention this one. "The One with the Embryos" is considered by many to be the peak of the show, because of the incredible chemistry between all the actors as the characters play a game of trivia in a competition for their apartment. The questions and answers reveal previously unknown information about all of the friends, and the reveals about just how close this group is make it kind of heartwarming. And of course, even though things don’t end well for the girls, Phoebe picks up the mood with the reveal that she’s pregnant.
