As one of the more jarring horrors of the early 21st century, “28 Days Later” feels like it could maybe happen to you.

The images are obviously disturbing, but the score makes everything worse. So, while “Friday the 13th” may not seem threatening to a couple of couch-bound boos, Jason will keep both you and your significant other biting your nails like a couple of scared kids.
