Top 10 Carpool Karaokes We NEED

With more than five decades worth of music at her disposal, something tells us Cher wouldn’t have a hard time coming up with songs to sing were she to find herself riding shotgun on Carpool Karaoke. How awesome would it be to see her and Corden belt out “If I Could Turn Back Time”? Or perhaps the two could sing the classic Sonny & Cher duet “I Got You Babe”? Either way a guest appearance by the legendary folk, pop and rock artist would be pretty damn cool.

This may come as a surprise to viewers who have only seen this heartthrob in action roles, but the “Wonder Woman” star has a pretty solid set of pipes. Not only was he featured on the Barbra Streisand album “Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway”, but he also flexed his musical chops as Cinderella’s Prince in the 2014 Disney musical “Into the Woods". Of course, it certainly doesn’t hurt Pine’s cause that he’s a world famous actor that oozes sex appeal and charisma, and who just generally seems like a super nice dude. It would appear there’s only one question left: what would he sing?

How this hasn’t happened yet, we will never know. DeGeneres has proven time and time again that if there’s two things she loves to do, it’s singing and dancing. While a car doesn’t exactly offer much in the way of dancing room, we’re sure she would still manage to groove from the waist up, and having her onboard to sing a couple of tunes would be a real treat.. Seriously, James Corden and Ellen DeGeneres are two of the TV personalities with arguably the most inherent charm, passion and musical ability in the biz. It’s high time she makes an appearance on Carpool Karaoke. Who’s with us?

The numbers are in and the people have spoken: the world wants more group Carpool Karaokes! Based on what we’ve seen so far from groups like the Red Hot Chili Peppers and One Direction, Carpool Karaoke is far from a singles game. Next up we want to see what British girl group Little Mix can do. Let’s break it down: all four members have awesome voices; all four members are brimming with energy; and their influences include Britney Spears, Rihanna and Michael Jackson. Nuff’ said.

Chance the Rapper’s skill with the mic has never been in question. And ever since he took home the Grammy for Best Rap Album, he’s officially one of the music industry’s hottest young stars. Oh, and let’s not forget his 2017 appearance on “Saturday Night Live”, which made it abundantly clear he’s got some serious comedic chops. So for him to make an appearance on Carpool Karaoke would pretty much be a dream come true. His hits aside, we’d love also love to see him bust out material by some of his influences, which include Michael Jackson, Eminem, Jay-Z and Joanna Newsom.

Would it not make for a truly memorable moment in talk show history if James Corden had the opportunity to proudly proclaim that Backstreet’s back (all right)! Having the Backstreet Boys on Carpool Karaoke would be so much fun! Sure it would be a tight fit trying to cram AJ, Nick, Kevin, Howie and Brian into a car alongside Corden, but it would be soooo worth it! The only problem would be which of their many hit songs would they choose to sing! Then again, if that’s this segment’s biggest problem, it sounds like one hell of a good time.

Let’s break down the facts. JT is one of the hottest triple threats in the entertainment industry. He can sing, he can dance and oh yeah, he can act. His numerous collaborations with late night talk show host Jimmy Fallon are the stuff of legend and he’s got arguably one of the most likeable personalities in the history of personalities. And that’s just off the top of our heads. The man has a plethora of hits to choose from so you know the sing-alongs would be epic, and there’s a good to fair chance we’d get to hear at least one NSYNC track. We don’t want this to happen, we need this happen!

Having Taylor Swift do a little Carpool Karaoke would be a blessing and a curse. Don’t get us wrong, we 100% want this to happen, but there’s a problem…how would you fit that much talent into one vehicle? T. Swift dropped “reputation.” in November of 2017 and within days it was the best selling album of the year! The only explanation is that she’s been sent from another planet where writing megahits is the only pastime. We know from her music videos that she loves to goof around and when you think about it, Carpool Karaoke is basically one long music video. It’s high time Corden and this Pop icon go for a ride.

Rihanna is pop’s rebel; and boy would we love to see her belt out a tune while riding shotgun in James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke cruiser. RiRi brings so much fire and passion to all of her musical endeavors we just know that this would be no different. As her and Corden made their way across town jamming out to classics like “Umbrella” and “Work, audiences around the world would justifiably go berserk. Music is all about attitude and Rihanna has that in spades. A Carpool Karaoke with her would be a new high.

She is music royalty, she has a long list of incredible songs to choose from and she’s married to Jay-Z; so there’s a chance she brings him along for the ride, which would be epic! Of course, were Beyoncé to appear on the show, the question on everyone’s mind would be whether or not she’d bust out any Destiny’s Child? And we really hope the answer would be “yes”.
